I So off we go, wait three hours, finally get to see a doctor. Stabbing pains are not a worry, only continuous, deep pains. We got a wrap for her rib area, with the theory that she pulled a muscle in there somewhere, and on our way. At least she doesn't seem to be deathly ill with anything.

Sounds like you got the "take two asprins and call me in the morning...." treatment

Yeah, pretty much. At least I don't get the Bad Mom award. Not this week, anyway. Of course, there was the week when her dance teacher told me I needed to take her to the doctor for her back. Not quite the school nurse, but still a Bad Mom moment.

I sure wish we were cruising this year, or even next year. It hasn't started out well for us. Caleb and Larry are doing great, but I've been in the hospital twice for my heart, getting a stent the first time and another 5 days of them diagnosing my uncommom heart condition. Plus our youngest DD (26) was diagnosed with cancer just after the first of the year. So, does this qualify for a need for a Disney cruise? I have our girls' cruise in November, but may have to cancel because of DD and other DD is trying to start a family, so the timing might be off. Any news on when the blabbermouths are going again? I know, have to wait for DCL to get those new ships in the water...

Sandi, sorry to hear about your tough year. It's is frustrating when life gets in the way of DCL cruises. I hope you get to do the one cruise you have booked. It shoulds like you just might need it.

Meet update.....gymnastics is good for your health. Sharon made a remarkable recovery and even drove part way there. I know her recovery was speeded up by the thought of missing a meet.

The short of it.....Lisa's team brough home the first place team banner. This was the first time they had 3 people so they could qualify for the team awards. Lisa's team mate placed first over all, Lisa placed second over all. She won the bars. Placed well on everything else.

Coach was happy.

Sharon was happy.

That means I am happy.

Hi guys, we are back in El Paso from our trip to Austin and the State Finals. We had a great trip, just exhausting driving back in late last night. Have been doing laundry and re-packing all morning trying to get ready to leave tomorrow morning for Florida.

Ashley had a great performance yesterday in the 200 breast. She took off 4 more seconds and made her first AAA time. She ended up 15th place. We are very proud of her. She has taken off 22 seconds in one year in that event and she took off 10 seconds on the 100 breast in the last year.

Well, gotta run so that we can finish up all of the things we need to do before tomorrow morning.

Sadly with the Magic going west in 2008 everyone kind of split up. I think it is Stacey, Virgil and Monica who are doing the June '08 Mexican Cruise. Stacey and some of the moms are doing the Eastbound repo cruise. We're cruising with the ohio mouse family in April '08 on the last Eastern before she heads west. Don't know when we'll all get to cruise together again.

Sandi - oh my!, Prayers and pixie dust for you and your DD.....Sorry to hear about the major health issues facing you and your family. You did not say, but I hope the treatments managed to get your condition under control. And there are so many positive results for certain cancers, I pray they apply to your DD.

A new baby is always a welcome reason to celebrate, perhaps a cruise will "assist" with the timeing.....

Glad you checked in, don't be a stranger even though we are not having a DD reunion in 2008. Our TA asked about waitlisting the new ships - what the hey, of couse I said yes!
