I told him this morning that he should have talked about meeting up with you guys.....like a mini-family-reunion. He smacked himself in the head! :)

Must change my siggy....

Speaking of which - next time you are down there you really should make some time to meet up with Pete. We had a nice conversation on Saturday about Dr. Mike! :)

Hi guys! Running around like a chicken with my head cutt off....must be the chicken comb injections.....trying to be "all done" before picking up Mom and Dad tomorrow.
Why do I feel the need to be "all done"???? Oh yeah, because my mom demands all of my time.:guilty:
After reading all of the above, I'm thinking twice about taking the whole family on a cruise next year!

Mary......sorry you don't feel good! Bummer. And not so great news about losing a co-worker. You know that means SOMEONE will have to take up the slack....and I think that means the one who does the most to begin with! :sad2:

Better get going....I'm burning daylight!

Heh....U-T.O.P.!

:tinker: pdfg HEY.....Our vanishing wizard with the wand smiley is gone!

Oh boy. I'm glad you said the word "nice" otherwise my paranoid personality would have kicked in and I'd have thought it was bad! :lmao:

I believe we are planning to try to meet up with him in May. B/c we'll have two weeks and no other committments. :)

FYI - If you get a white screen after posting, use your browser's back button and repost. Don't worry, it won't double post. The board is getting some upgrades and there's bound to be a few glitches.

Getting the canoe and paddles ready so I can go home. We have had massive rain and massive flooding today......streets, businesses, homes, etc.

wet - wet - wet

Hoping to heal very quickly. And to have a great time on the cruise. Hope you all are well. Hope to see you real soon.:thumbsup2

Tell your dad he should give you a massage, since they don't let kids into the spa. And have fun!!

Hi Bear - Love the Chirt....I had a great time in WDW - sorry I did not see you. We were booked with lots of Christmas events....THEY have pictures of me but THEY have not posted them...I think I shall have to wake THEM up early, early tomorrow morning so THEY will post pictures of the cute Hedgehog.

:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Friday!

Feeling a little bit better (but not 100% yet) so off to work I go. My boss is off today and I talked to her yesterday. The president of the company told me not to worry about coming in if I wasn't up to it, but I'm doing ok. It is casual day so that helps. Being comfy in jeans and a sweater helps.

Good Morning Mary - take it easy. Today is our office lunch - so I get to go and decorate........ :sunny: Wearing my Christmas shirt......

Good Morning All....I see that naughty Hedgehog was already up this morning!

Glad you're feeling better, Mary. Seems 'Tis the Season for illness and injury. :sad2:

There's an entire school system in Georgia closed today in an attempt to keep the crud from spreading! Walker County in NW Georgia.

I'm stocking up on Airborne! ;)

I think I'm too late, but Safe Travels Diana, Kevin & Alicia!!

Irene, is it still raining? I know you guys needed it, but not a monsoon! Oh, but I don't feel sorry for you - you'll be cruising soon!!! :yay:

I think you will enjoy meeting him and I know he'll enjoy meeting you. We got to see his podcast room which is where the talk of Mike came up. He loves having Mike as a writer on the site even though he said a few of his articles got him in trouble with his own employees (gee I wonder which ones). :) He also said he wishes he could find 2-3 more people with Mike's writing talent so that a variety of opinions can be up there.

Maybe Mike can arrange it to sit in on one of the roundtables they do (which is really done at a round table). :lmao:

Seeing as how it's almost Christmas......could you explain your tag? Waiting to escape Alcatraz?:confused3

Can't remember the exact story, but I was on the CB in a thread about Christmas inflatables (you KNOW how much I "LOVE" them...) someone had posted a picture of a yard full of them, all lined up against a high chain link fence... and it looked like they were desparate to escape... so I guess I made some remark about how it looked like Alcatraz...

Thank goodness for our neighbors!!!

You can say that again! I left St. Pete at 2:30 yesterday afternoon... hit the WORST traffic on I-4 that I have EVER been in... Ray was working a trade show in Orlando til 7, and SOMEONE had to pick Christopher up from the after school care program by 6PM... Ray and I were on the phones calling everyone we could think of... with no luck- finally, we BOTH got ahold of separate neighbors, who both showed up at the same time to get him... they released him to the neighbor who was clever enough to bring Elizabeth along... she's able to sign him out, as she's immediate family. What a mess.

I didn't get home til 7:30... I'm surprised that my boss and I didn't kill each other out of sheer frustration sitting in traffic for so long. Tried getting off I-4 and taking a secondary road... no better... at one point, we had travelled 6 miles in 90 minutes.

OK... enough venting about traffic. Sorry.
