This could change the complexion of tomorrow entirely..

Bo Schembechler collapses, dies at 77

Lot of times, this kind of thing really either takes the wind out of or inspires a team like little else can.

OK this is spooky because I was just coming here to post the exact same thing!

I watched the TV coverage during lunch. Sad. :guilty:

He was the last part of the great Bo vs Woody era. Loved those games and both the coaches. Great football.

I just got that email as a "breaking news" from our newpaper ppl...
I agree....it could motivate them to overcome us (I'm hoping not) or it could knock them for a loop (and they'll lose by even more than normal)

Could go either way.

Bo, just last week, said he wished Woody Hayes was still alive so they could watch the game together. Maybe now they will. ;)

:sad1: That's a nice thought on a sad day.

That's what I was thinking, too. What a nice thought. Oops...if Mark and Mary think alike....and now WE think alike......:lmao: Nah...that's just because we're nice people who appreciate nice thoughts.

I lurked here all through the original blabbermouth cruise. Glad to see you are all still chatting.

Non-Disney question that I can probably get answered here....

We are going on a non-Disney cruise. Not by choice but my in-laws are coming and getting them to FLA is difficult (they won't fly, and the last time they took the train it was a fiasco)

Anyway, where is the best place for info or message boards for a Princess cruise? We are going on the Crown Princess out of New York.

Yep...gometros is right. I go on there to talk about my (gasp!) Norwegian cruises...past & future. Wish I'd been over there more before our Princess cruise, I might have been better prepared. Not as prepared as you can get from the DIS, though.
:disrocks:

And you don't have to apoligize for a non-DCL cruise........a few of us are "cheaters". ;) ;)

Hi all. Reading and posting from the library again. &*(^*%*&%^(^Earthlink.

Actually, I came to print some postage labels for a couple of EBay packages, then realized I forgot the money order envelopes so I can check the addresses. Guess I will be back tomorrow. Or maybe our internet will come back for a little while.

Kevin said "we're having a lot of trouble with Earthlink". So I reminded him that we had trouble when we had Qwest, and that's why we have Earthlink now. I guess we're just lucky that way.

Monica, post and tell us how it went. Maybe I will get to read it!

While I don't deny that there is a greater audience here talking about a specific cruise line and ship, I got a lot of information prior to our Carnival Cruise in Spetember. What was even better was talking with people who were on both Carnival and DCL so that I can get a comparison of what to expect.

Not cheating. I love DCL, but there is no denying the fact that some other cruise lines offer more value for the money. DCL is not a bargain.

Is this how you get a UTOP?

My goal today was to stay focused on the kids' school so we could get a LOT done before vacation. DIdn't work so well. I found a blog in the last day or so ....written by a man whose wife was critically ill. His posts were so touching....he was definitely totally in love with his wife. Well, today there was a bad ending to the whole story. I had been trying to "catch up" to find out the course of this woman's illness (only 2 weeks) but now I just can't read anymore.....it's just too horrible.

Yep...that's how you get a UTOP. Good job. :thumbsup2

And yes, as much as I LOVE DCL....it sure helps this family to be able to cruise another line a bit cheaper, in between our DCL fixes!!

I don't even want to know. There's enough heartache here to last a while. One of my closest friends here (20+ years) Dad died this morning. :sad2: :sad1: I guess we've reached that age where we'll be the "older generation" soon.

Our condolences Stacey!! You're right about getting to the age...... :guilty:

This is a fun little exercise that some of you might find interesting. Go to Autodesk and run this quiz on which photo is real and which ones are computer generated. You will be amazed by the them.

I got 8 out of 10.

That's neat! I got 7 out of 10; tried again and got 8 out of 10; then I let it show me which were real!!!

Seven out of ten for me. I was afraid I'd do worse if I went back and tried again. :)
