The best costume we saw was a little boy dressed up as a whoppie cushon. He would walk around, bend down and let one gone. It was funny. :rotfl: especially after the wine.

Morning All - we had a great "Trick or Treat" night....We set up tables and chairs and block off the end of the street - we have a fire and all sorts of eats, esp chili - Of course all the Halloween lights are on to welcome the kiddies. And ac cooler of beverages for adults.

The smallest - actually Trick or treating was 2 in a skeleton costume. The older (non-adult) was around 16 or 17 - in a Taxi costume. And everythign in between.

Lots of pirates and faries this year.

All our kids were sooo polite this year - Since we had 3 houses we had 3 baskets of goodies....You had to remind them they could take out of all 3 - and mostly everyone said thank you - and no one grabbbed handfuls. I had 72 bags and had to borrow candy to complete the night....

Then we hung around with the other neighbors admiring pumpkins.

Last year was such a bummer as the officials did not want the kids out on the streets due to no power and the debris strewn around everywhere. So, last year we had just the kids on our street. What a change....

It threated rain, but only a few spatters all night....

Tired now - we had to haul everything in, wash dishes and sleep....

and the morning top - with al the goblins....

We just finished our Trick or Treating for the night. We had our fire in the driveway.....a big hit with Sharon.

Besides passing out candy I passed out a few drinks to the parents. I think they enjoyed it as much as the kids did. :thumbsup2

Way to go :thumbsup2

:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Wednesday!

No trick or treaters for us. Don't really have any little ones in the neighborhood so we don't even put on the light. Just a nice quiet night at our house.

Good morning all! We had a good night last night. Not many trick-or-treaters for us either. We left the bowl of candy and came home to find it still full. From what we saw, there were a total of 10 kids including my 2.

We just talk the same, think the same thing and do the same thing at the same time.We don't even have to be in the same room to do it!;) I guess we should have been twins!:rotfl:

I just need to elaborate a little bit.

We had a bachlorette party onboard the Wonder for one of our friends. One of the woman brought a journal and we wrote wishes to the bride and groom in them. Later in the evening, the men showed up. At the time, the ladies we're playing a game of sitting in the "hot seat" and sharing marital advice. So, Chris' husband Mike comes along, sits down and verbally says the same exact thing that Chris wrote. :scared: :scared: :crazy2: :crazy2:

I still get shivers down my spine thinking about how they actually had the same thoughts yet never verbally communicated them to each other.

Where was I when all this happened? I don't even remember guys being in the hot seat let alone writing something? :confused3 :lmao:

Just goes to show you live in one of those fancy neighborhoods! :rotfl:

Yeah... about 3/4 mile downwind from whoopie-cushion-boy.

We did notice quite a few 'drop-offs' in our neighborhood... how 'bout you guys, Jim? (Or did we get all the Samsulians who don't want to go stable-to-stable???)

Your kidding, right? Or you had more :drinking1 than I realized?

Stacy brought a journal that we all wrote wishes in for Matt & Julie. You didn't see it?

And, remember Christian our cruise director came along and started the guys sitting in the hot seat? Then Jeff I think was next, followed by several others, including Mike.

Does that help to spark your memory?

Any ever cruised during Spring Break before? I just checked out the rates for '08 during our spring break. I almost had a heart attack. Is spring break really THAT much more expensive than the summer? It was WAY more than we paid for this summer. I hope that's not an indication of prices will be like for summer '08.

We cruised Spring Break 2004 - and the 4 day was as almost as expensive as the 2006 7 day Double Scoop....

Thanks Virgil. That makes me feel better. I was starting to wonder if the rates for the summer would be astronomical.

The only two that came to our door in costumes were Jordan and her boyfriend. Jordan and another dance instructor had taken some of the little girls Trick or Treating. But she didn't bring us any!

I KNOW! Seeing that tiny little thing dressed up as Raggedy Ann made my night! Or were you talking about the candy?

Wow! Sounds like Halloween is alive and well in Florida! 72 bags, that's an investment. DD and her friends went to a gated community of townhomes, and she said that most of the houses didn't have candy. Either that, or they weren't opening their doors to teenagers. I think if they do it again, they need to find some little kids to take with them. The groups of bigger kids seem to do better with a token little kid.

So, you DVC cruisers had a wedding shower? That's sweet!

Yes, Angie, Holiday cruises are way expensive. That's why the Double Dip was so appealing to us, it was right before the high season kicked in (summer), and we booked it right after we had paid for the 10 day Christmas cruise.

:rotfl: The CANDY! Already raised (raising?) two girls, definitely do not need another one!
