Okay, scuba guys/gals....those who know their fishies...what kind of fish is this?

IMGP1216.jpg

And is this one a snake or an eel??

IMGP1214.jpg

The first would be a Trumpetfish and the other appears to be a Sharptail eel. It's a little tough to tell from the picture. This eel is not one we see very often.

Kevin, what do you think?

We here on the DIS don't really care about the 2008 NCL dates! :rotfl:

I normally wouldn't either... but, I'm making a concession for my parents' 50th... I guess its the least I can do... after all, they fed me and clothed me for 18 years, funded my gymnastic and dance hobbies in my younger days, not to mention 4 years of undergrad work and a pretty pricy wedding... oh yeah... and the fact that they LOVE me!!!!!!!!

But what I was getting at was if the dates came out for NCL and didn't work for us, it would be a good excuse to do DCL again!!!!!!!!

This talk of new computers is reminding me I have to get a new one soon. I've never liked the laptop types for the day to day computing. Just can't get used to the smaller keyboard. I think I'll wait until after the first of the year for the new Vista operating system has been out awhile and some of the early bugs are worked out.

Virgil, can't go Apple since allllll of my software is for the PC. :confused3

My new Dell is Vista-ready with the new DuoCore in it. Its also got a full sized keyboard for the office. I am so used to using my smaller 'normal sized' laptop anyway, so the new one is like a drive-in movie!!!!!!

But now the Wonder will be even better!! Mary tells me that they are adding a waterfall to the adult pool. I didn't know that! How cool.

Stacey you obviously weren't listening to the TM presentation about the changes coming up. Sounds like the Wonder is getting the magic updates plus a few more.

Great pictures!!! Saw a beautiful sunset this evening and thought about how nice it would have been from our veranda.

This could be a reason for Diana to never travel with me again. This was our "guide" around the old capital of St Lucia, Soufriere:

The man scores Two for the underwater team!! Yeah!! :cheer2:

Not a "normal" perspective of either one of those creatures for me, I prefer the "up close and personal" view myself! Guess Stacey likes taking pictures of the top of heads....... :rolleyes1

Well, yeah....I FLOAT! And besides, it's better than fish butts.

Actually, we were lucky to have any fish shots at all as rough as the waves were. Couldn't hold still long enough to snap.

And if the eel is one that (according to Jim) you don't see very often, then isn't it cool that we spotted something rare? Frances found it. She said she always finds the creepy things. Maybe that's how she met Virgil........

I hope Lisa keeps in mind our funding of her gymnastics when I need someone to feed me applesauce! :lmao:

:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Friday!

Good morning all. Bruce left this morning to head to Louisiana this weekend. He's going to his brother's big LSU football party to watch the Tigers & the Gators battle it out. GEAUX TIGERS!!! (Sorry Irene!) My sister called yesterday on their way to Amelia Island for a romantic, anniversary weekend. She said that they had an opportunity to go to the game but refused because they already had plans. What were they thinking???!!! It's not THAT far of a drive.

So, I'm a single mom this weekend. Wish me luck!

Hope everyone has a great Fri. & weekend.

I had them all along on my desk at my 'other' job (the tackle shop)... 1/4 mile down the road from my real office ... I almost chimed in with "I had them first", but I couldn't find the stick-pokey smiley when I needed it. ;)

I put the gymnastics comment in for your benefit and "future use"... I was never at the $$ level that she is... it was a Saturday AM hobby for me... but its a good guilt trip for you when you need your applesauce fed to you down the road.

Cool moon out there tonight!!!!!!!

So here it is, mine & Ray's 16th anniversary... and I'm sitting here with the dog while everyone else is at football. Oh well... had a nice lunch with my hubby today. Its nice that he has a boss that lets him out of the office once in awhile... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .
