Just got an email from All Seas Travel. DCL just opened up some rooms for Florida Resident rates......12/21 Wonder, 3 days!!

It fits perfect into the kids schedule and we will be home for Christmas Eve.

We are going to book them today!

I thought some of you would enjoy this.

In the Youth Orchestra that I will be playing in, we will be playing Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain, or the music used for Chernabog in the original Fantasia.

We will also be playing Syphony Fantasique's fourth movement, March to the Scaffold. The story behind the song is somewhat strange though.

WOW! Sounds challenging, but fun at the same time!!

Fed ex came today. But Mike was expecting pool chemicals and so I didn't answer. Well, Mike just got home and said "do you realize there is a Fed ex letter out here addressed to KT?" HUH?

We opened it up....................

KT HAS WON A SHOPPING SPREE AT BUILD A BEAR WORKSHOP!!!!!!!!!!! SHE WILL HAVE 45 SECONDS TO STUFF AS MUCH "STUFF" AS SHE CAN INTO ONE OF THE BOXES YOU TAKE YOUR BEAR HOME IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHE'S ALLOWED TO INVITE ONE FRIEND. SHE IS TAKING NICK!!!!!

Of course, being the good mom that I am, I talked strategy. Usually KT and Nick could spend 30 minutes deciding on one outfit. I told them that just WON'T do. I told them they are going to have to grab stuff without thinking about it. Go for the good stuff that's easy to stuff in a box. Go for the things that will sell well on ebay (and they can keep the profits and take it to build a bear and buy what they want without rushing)

Your post just made me check my 'junk mail' yahoo e-mail account... I WANNA GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great rates! And we have no family coming for Christmas this year.

But I think we're going to see our Patriots play in Jacksonville on 12/24. (Yeah, nothing like family bonding time at Christmas Eve at Altel Stadium... how's THAT for holiday tradition... NOT... but our Pat's don't come down this way often. (But I'd STILL rather do another Disney Cruise...)

Seriously, that is why we let a lot of stuff around the house slide....we would rather have experiences than my new kitchen stove, or bike, or painters....

Believe me, you're preaching to the choir on this one... but our kitchen has been SUCH a thorn in our side since we bought the house- we both agreed that we would redo it in '07. We hadn't had a 'family' (all 4 of us) vacation in many years... so in his mind, we don't need another one yet.
