Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning not-so-blabbery Blabbermouths! It's times like these that I even miss the men discussing diving and photography!

Speaking of the boys and diving....
We have something new sprouting up by us (Mark and Mary....across the highway from Cheeseburger in Paradise).....

It's a place called "Aquatic Adventures."

Know anything about it?

Here's a website following the progress......

Because the midwest is the undiscovered "Diving Capital of the World"?????? Isn't that like selling suntan lotion in Seattle???

That's pretty cool. If we had a nice place like that, maybe I WOULD take dive lessons. The nearest dive shop to us just has a dingy looking little pool in the back room.
Nice for kids swimming lessons, too. But I'd hate to see the bill for their liability insurance.

:rotfl: At least that was more creative than "selling ice to the Eskimos".

I've got to go to Seattle for 5 days in September... I'm praying for sunshine & 75!

Good Morning -

I know it is afternoon already but I was unable to log on this morning.....technical errors?

How are things?

My neighbor is taking her daughter 11 to Las Vegas, there will be 3 - Grandma, Neighbor-Mom and Daughter. For about 4 days

What are some good activities for a child.
What are things to stay away from.

This will be their first visit. They will be taking in a concert - otherwise, they have no clue. It is not until November so they have some time to pass.

I was going to PM Stacey, but then I thought some others might have some good suggestions, and afterall, we need the posts.

Thanks....

There's an Anheuser-Busch sales meeting for 4 days at the MGM Grand Nov 6-9... oh wait... you wanted something GOOD to do... well... that's what I'LL be doing in Vegas from Nov 6-9...

I'm sure Stacey can come up with something better!!!

Good Afternoon All!

On the plus side of not so blabbermouthy is that it is easier to catch up!!! Went to breakfast with some of my former Bally's aqua aerobics ladies (They are still at Bally's I'm not...) - we probably could have stayed through lunch - we sat talking until 11:30...

Scored a bonus at Marshall's this afternoon, went in see if they had the small hand held toning balls, and walked out with a Cubs Jersey!!! :woohoo:

Remember, the child is 11.......

Not much to catch up on....time to go home and clean house......

on the plus side, dinner will be yummy!

Best subs ever!!!

There's Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay...like an aquarium.

Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage...lions, tigers, dolphins....oh my!

Small lion habitat at the MGM...not much to see, but when combined with a meal at the Rainforest Cafe (right there, same place) it makes a fun evening.

Titanic Exhibit (awesome even for an 11 yr old, they make you a "passenger") at the Tropicana

Top of the "Eiffel Tower"

Awesome video arcade (huge!) and roller coaster at New York New York

Downtown at night to see the overhead light show that stretches for 3 city blocks

Shopping, shopping and more shopping. Desert Passage Mall at the Aladdin is cool. Fashion Show Mall is a basic mall.

Now you can take up diving. Get your certification and come on down. I would love to take you out into the ocean and push you off the back of the boat. :lmao:

See....that's what I've missed! (Sorry, Ohminnie!)

And of course, after I whined about being lonely....I have to sign off. The kid has homework to do on here. Getting his computer fixed soon. Thank goodness.
