closing should be on the 28th sept. and they move out on OCT 14 th

so will have to wait and see.

MAYBEE the first of NOV. ????????????????

but then if I waited til the cruise date for the HOLIDAY CRUISE then I could take pics of them sailing???????????????????????????????????????

My neighbor is taking her daughter 11 to Las Vegas, there will be 3 - Grandma, Neighbor-Mom and Daughter. For about 4 days

What are some good activities for a child.
What are things to stay away from.

This will be their first visit. They will be taking in a concert - otherwise, they have no clue. It is not until November so they have some time to pass.

I was going to PM Stacey, but then I thought some others might have some good suggestions, and afterall, we need the posts.

Will they have a car? If so, there's always Hoover Dam, Valleys of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, and of course the tour of the Ethel M Chocolate Factory in Green Valley.

All of Stacey's suggestions were good things to do on the strip.

And YES...I am very glad to be home! Glad that Dad is doing well, and nice to be back with my family.

Congratulations!! Glad to hear your offer was accepted.

How about the 1st week of November for your WDW trip? Food & Wine Festival will still be going on; which is a major reason I just booked a trip for that week (AP rates I just couldn't pass up!)

Irene, last I heard regarding the Shuttle: they found some bolts that were "problematic" (????!) - installed incorrectly; and since the Shuttle was already on the launch pad, they needed to build a special scaffolding to make the repairs; unsure if repairs would be done in time for 8/27 launch.

(I have no idea how accurate that story is........)

POP does have AP rates for the 1st week of November. I booked there, but changed to AKL - I haven't stayed @ AKL since they 1st opened.
