Welcome back, Karen! I do agree about the parks in the summer, which is why I'm not too torn up about giving up our August trip. But I admit to thinking about the week early in March next year that Alicia might have off during standardized testing! If I had a date, I'd be booking a DVC room!

OK, what is EXIF?
It's a secret, and meant to be kept away from girls who go on cruises without their DH......... :rotfl2: :lmao:

But you DID have magic tricks every night, no??? :)

p.s. sorry to the late diners.....there never seemed to be a good time to get Nick to late dining (by then we were already slumming it in shorts and/or at a show)

Hey....I slummed it to early dining on FORMAL night in shorts!! Give us a better excuse!

WHINER

EXIF is Exchangeable Image File data....it's about the same thing as "properties"...just a fancier way to say it.

We're home now too. I just finished reading 40+ pages. I don't know when I'll get to reading the live thread or trip reports or any of that!

We didn't spend as much time in the parks as I would have liked - that darn humidity and those darn crowds! Shane and I enjoyed the Segway tour and Bryce enjoyed Dive Quest. We rode Expedition Everest - Bryce and I got to ride it 3 times. It's cool. Rock N Roller Coaster is still my favorite. We did get up to Lady Lake to visit Alan's Aunt and her new husband who recently had a triple bypass. He's 87 - didn't seem a day over 70 :goodvibes

Amanda, I was thinking of you last night. I told Madona you said "Hi" - not really, but I would have if I could have :thumbsup2 I only saw a few minutes of the show, but heard it all quite well! She started 45 minutes late - I heard Thursday night too. I'm told Thursday there were some very interesting outfits - quite a few characters (no, not Mickey) at the show. Saturday was kind of mellow. Someone mentioned she'd been starting late all tour. I'm guessing she must get a percentage of the concessions so she holds off starting :teeth: That way everyone is hot from waiting outside to get in, hot from waiting inside where it feels like the air conditioning is turned off, and they are willing to pay big bucks for beverages!

We didn't rebook either since the 2008 dates aren't out. It seems toooooo far away to book something in the hopes of moving it to then. Shane also graduates then. He thinks he's going to spend that summer backpacking around Europe. I suppose if that happens we could cruise without him!!!!!

I never came across the LRC game. My roll of dimes came unrolled in my suitcase. I keep finding dimes everywhere :teeth:

Time to hit the sack.
Sherry

I was here, then I left, now I'm back. I had to go move half my closet's worth of clothes off the bed, or else sleep on the couch. Yet another rod broke today. I know I need to go through all of my clothes and toss a bunch (donate) but I really didn't need to do it right now!
Anyway, after the exercise of moving all that crud, I'm wide awake again. I should have just left them alone and slept on the couch.

Been staring at the full moon of my cruise dreams. It just doesn't look the same in the desert as it would have over the ocean.

Man, you got that wrong......OUR limo pulled out FIRST!!!! (btw, with YOUR driver!!!) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yeah, but we passed you guys! We waved as we went by.
And I wanted my driver back! He was my only "special request"....:confused3

Stacey - love the "moon" picture. I would've loved to cruise under a full moon. I could imagine what it looks like over the water. We'll have to plan better next time.

I'm here, working on my trip report. You were the first person I mentioned, Maria!

I saw that. Here I am. Can't believe it. I didn't wake up like this on the cruise. I guess that's what happens when you don't have anything on your mind to worry about. I'm starting to get sleepy though.

Love your trip report. You're too funny. And you didn't look like a drowned rat.

Stace - I'm heading out of here. I'm going to lay down here on the couch and see if I could get some shut-eye. Have a good sleep. Talk to ya soon.

Good night, Maria! Just like old times....

I'm going to have to put a "To be continued" on my report and go to bed pretty soon too.

Wecome back - glad you had a god time enjoying what Florida has to offer in the summer...You had a preview - it gets hotter and more humid....

I could tell the crowds would be larger - no Florida discounts at the moment...sure give-away.....not used to paying full price for rooms..

Have fun unpacking....

Is it cheaper, if you only build the EAR??? :listen: heh heh heh LYMI

I am SOOOOOOOO bummed! Was at Target yesterday, and they have sailor outfits for dogs....no, I wouldn't put one on the dog....but I WOULD have bought one for Pooh to wear on the cruise!! I may buy them for next time, though. But it wouldn't be the same without Hedgie. :guilty: Thanks again, Irene, for the darling pirate outfit....he's still wearing it!

U-T.O.P. with 'Manda, Irene, Hedgie and Pooh!

:tinker: pdfg

WHO SAYS SHE HAS TO COME?????

Still sore from my weekend in the Garden....I need some of the WDW folk to help me I think....Up early again yesterday ... and tried to get the pool area under control....I think the jungle is winning....Still, it looks better if the 8x10 pile of debris is any indication. The honey bees are all over the Datura and Crape Myrtle so that was left mostly untrimmed. The beds are a mess of weeds.....but I need to wait for Sam to mow before I can attack them....And yes, it rained....strated in the am - just spiting but after 5:00 mass - a deluge....we really need it, so no complaints.

Now we need to invest a small fortune in mulch....(we use melaleuca)....About 25-30 bags for around the pool...Still, I did not get to the garden at all last spring (like Pooh bear, I was on crutches) and the year before it was a mess from storms....

Our church kids are at Hard Work Camp in Tampa....right were the storm is going, but it looks like it will just bring rain. Who was saying there was ash at WDW....did not know it was that bad in Central Florida.

Still have not found time to scrapebook...must complete it by July 15 - we are having a post Cruise party - another chance to wear the shirts.

Time to pack - heading to the west coast for meetings, so must wear real clothes.....

Still not completely unpacked from the trip....sign.....I did finally get Hedgie to take off the Double Dip hat.....pried it from her heady bones I did......sigh.....

And no real cruise to dream about.....Next trip for us is a weekend at Coronodo Springs....for fireworks and relaxation......

Have a good day :wave2:

I doubt the crowds would be much better in early March. The weather will be better, but not the crowds. Lots of schools out, home schoolers, etc....

The thread is slow for two weeks and then OH comes home and we have 10 pages to read in the morning. No wonder she is the TOPS on our thread. and the biggest blabbermouth.....:lmao:
