We are doing the same thing. Being Lazy Beached Bums at all three ports. Dominique is quite contented to play in the sand, Misti doesnt do the salt water thing, so we are going to have one more relaxing vacation.
We will have a lot of sand toys to share if anyone wants them.

Us too. Our goal is to spend as much time relaxing at the beach as possible on this trip. And doing it on our own timeline is part of that!

LATE Dinner Seating:


For the most part, we don't know who is sitting with who yet. We put in for XX number of people, the rotation we wanted....and left the rest up to DCL.
There are some people who did request to sit with eachother....We had posted here many moons ago that if you had a preference to let us know (and that was for wanting to sit with someone, or NOT wanting to sit with someone).....so we did honor those requests. But for all the rest of us, it will be luck of the draw.

It seems that we end up playing "musical chairs" alot anyway. If one couple goes to Palo, we'll move around, etc.

P.S. No one asked to NOT be seated with anyone. well except for all the people who said they didn't want to sit with Jim, but that was a given..........

Once again, thanks so much to everyone who's helped pull this together! I always look forward to our cruises, but this year I REALLY can't wait, because I can't wait to meet all you guys!!!!

Just finished the door signs.....for those of you who have not been able to find the magnetic pages, the standard 3 ring plastic binder inserts work well, with magnets glued to the back. I used strips from Wal-Mart.

Door signs - check!

Did I post this idea? Hmmm....I know I tried it and I think that's what we'll be doing. Can't remember if I actually posted it or not.

Although I did not glue. I slid one of the magnet sheets into the plastic cover, then slid my door sign in....Voila. Then I can interchange them without using another magnet.

Besides, we have a ton of extra magnet sheets b/c one time we bought cheap offbrand magnet sheets and they don't print well.....so this solves the problem.

Btw, the box is on a ups truck someplace.. UPS tracking, it gets to go on vacation before we do!

Won't be soon enough for me, I am beat. Today should be the last of the worst of a major undertaking at work. I still don't know if it'll all be done before I go, but the most essential part will be.

It really does make a world of difference knowing a bunch of (nice) DISers. It is SO wonderful to pass people in the hall and say hi or stop and chat. Dinners are great b/c there is so much laughing and fun going on---even between tables. It truly will be a different cruise experience for you!

Kids were invited to a science center this afternoon with friends (I'd have to stay)

Toying with the idea of giving them the morning off of school too so I can run around town (hate to spend the $$$ to drive into town and not get everything done) Not a lot of "cruise related" stuff though....just stuff that has to get done....
replace the OSU plate that Mowana broke
pick up the cross stitch piece for neighbor's baby (haven't got a call yet, but I'm going to call them and see if it's done...it's been a month, should be done now)
crazy stuff like that...

but then after the science center we have haircuts (with a 2 hour break between the two) so i'm not sure if I could get everything done then....

Irene, I'd be happy to pick up one of the photo magnet holders that I bought but that means that your signs would need to be 8x10 instead of 8.5x11. Just let me know.

I was soooo happy that the "hippees" won. I loved them from the beginning. They enjoyed and appreciated everywhere they went. They weren't nasty or mean to anyone. Not like when they cancelled the taxis. THAT was mean. Anyway...loved the outcome.
