There were some pretty "interesting" gals there. Young...tiny little swimsuits. They had said when they first got there that they were going to get drunk, and they did. Ended up looking pretty stupid.

I don't wear a swimsuit, there's no way I'd be caught on TV in one. Jordan wore hers, but never took her shirt off and didn't get in the water. Jared did, though.

WHOA....I thought I noticed that in the other picture.....

what happened to Jared's shaggy look???

Sorry. but that one took every puking smiley I could find!!!!!!

My kids haven't touched whole milk since the day they turned 2... and I can't even use it my coffee... skim milk or nothing in this house! (The reason I asked, is because, on the way to school this morning, Christopher asked me, "On the cruise, are they going to have that gross milk like they have at school?"

(note to self ... and the grocery shopper ... need to by chunky milk before my sister gets here on 6/17).

Just make sure it is on the list...

We have never done the 7 day before and I have a Pirate night question.

What is the main part of the Pirate night activities? Dinner or after. Our excursion on the day that everyone assumes is Pirte night is not schedule to get back until 5:30. With early dining we may not have time to get showered and changed to make dinner. Will we miss the main part of Pirate night or are the festivities more after dinner than before? (Also, impacts about how nuts I get about packing our Pirate attire)

Thanks,

Jim
Hi, Jim! From what I remember from last year, there's a special dinner menu that night and then a big deck party later that night. Some people dressed up for dinner, but most (I think) waited until the party. Honestly I don't think most people even dress up.

Where are you in NJ? We're in Union County. Beautiful day today, isn't it?

Look at that! A UTOP with the Jersey-ites!

Time for a TOP but with pirate: s and slow boards....

figured!

I do. Go ahead an sling (ha) it on over. And make it snappy (ha). I'm supposed to be at work, but I seem to be banded (ha) to my computer.

Some girls at school told him he'd be better looking if he cut it. So he rode his bike to the barber, and paid for it himself. (I love those girls!) Now he's saying it's too long and he's going to the barber before we leave. But he won't have time....he's got games every night.

OHMinnie,

I keep forgetting to mention that I read Mike's latest article. After reading it, I partly feel like a "smart" parent but partly feel like a "stupid" parent. Emily is still in a booster & Ashley still in a 5 pt. harness. Last week when Emily had dinner with her teacher I put her booster in the teacher's car. The other mom did not. Afterward, Emily asked why she had to be in a booster when Sarah did not. Some of her friends don't use the belt positioner. I don't think at 5.5 they're tall enough not to use it. I feel like a "stupid" parent because I bet Mike would recommend her to still be in a 5 point harness. I do get worried about how much she can move around with the shoulder belt. The carseat that Ashley is in is rated up to 65 lbs. ... my kids could sit in that until they were probably 12!!!

Anyway, tell Mike it was a great article.

I'll let Mike know you liked it. Be sure to subscribe to his site....and when it says "how did you hear about us?" put "ohiominnie"

I've joked with him that I should get a $2.50 referral fee for anyone that I PERSONALLY draw into his site.... :lmao:

These are the last two that I'll bore you with. I just think it's fascinating the things the designers can come up with when they have tons of money.

This one is the fountains going off:

Obviously, the guy in the reddish shirt didn't know about the fountains. He jumped up just as I grabbed my camera.

Well the cook HAS to shop, he wants the proper ingrediants...but don't get her started, she has gotten me in trouble before answering that question...

This reminds me. We were coming home from the graduation party Saturday. Exiting the freeway, stopped at a red light.
Jared's in the back seat and had been really quiet. All of a sudden he says "Don't shoot that at us!" Really loud and excited-like. Jay and I both totally FREAKED OUT! We were ducking and looking around at the same time.
We finally got Jared to tell us that there was a kid in the car next to us with some kind of contraption that kids make to shoot wads of paper with rubber bands.
And we thought we were about to get shot with a gun! :guilty:

I was born 2 months preemie, in a day and age when they pretty much threw you under a lightbulb and said "Grow."...

I was a premie too about 2 months early and 2lbs 7 oz...Don't know about the formula...Growing up, my mom was fond of illustrating my weight with 2-1lb packages of butter. My mom just comments every now and then about how tough it was to get a cloth diaper to stay on or clothes that fit...When I was pregnant, she marveled over the wide range of preemie clothes available.

Growing up and even now, I've always preferred 2%. None of that watered stuff...It has only been in the last year, I've accustomed to 1%. In our house, we have a gallon of mom's milk and a gallon for everyone else.

Sorry, Ang....but I just had to post this one of the Braves player who should be reminded it's not polite to pick your nose in public. Especially when there are TV cameras and people sitting right in the outfield with cameras.
