Well Kiki got the last from the port but I get the first from on the ship!

Love the new boarding procedures as we got to have a not so mini DIS meet while waiting to board! It has been so great to finally get to meet so many we have chatted with here on the boards.

Off to have more fun!

Virgil was right behind us in line to go IN (like before security) but we didn't see anyone after that. where were y'all hiding from us?

It was great seeing everyone at the meet at 3pm but I needed me some shade. lordamercy it was BRUTAL that sun- lol Okay I know I'm a Texan but I'm a smart one -either in the water or in the a/c when it's hot. LOL So good to see everyone.
Too bad we didn't get linked for dinner for some reason! They had us linked with some strangers simply because they used the same travel agency as us! they are going to try to rectify that situation tomorrow. But that was probably the only night (except if we force the kids on formal nigh) that the kids will want to eat with us instead of staying in the club/lab. And was hoping they'd get to know some kids to have friends in the club/lab- or atleast SEE them while we ate and feel like they weren't strangers. aw well... story of my life. If it can go wrong- it will.

I better get some sleep eh? haha yeah right. We got plenty of sleep the night before because we did NOT stay late at MK like I thought we would. You know me- night owl... so I only got 3hrs sleep thurs night and ZERO sleep wed night packing and such- so I just couldn't make it to 3am on Friday night... only made it to midnight (leaving MK at midnight I mean) and we slep until 7:30am before getting ready to leave towards the cruise. that's a lot of sleep for me! LOL

I'm home safe. it was very hot down there

there was a brush fire at the last toll plaza by disney, they closed the turnpike right after I got off. more than 3 hours it was closed.

GaRry - wonderful news about the insurance. Now we just keep praying that you move up the list quickly and get that transplant. Then we'll all have to plan a cruise to celebrate and get everyone back together!

What great news!!!!!! We'll keep the pixie dust coming!!!! Sure wish you could have joined us for a GREAT week!!!!

Speaking of insurance news... we received a 'lovely' welcome home message from Allstate... telling us that our homeowners insurance has been cancelled. (Pretty common in FL right now... thanks a lot.)

Our travel agent stopped by this morning (thinking we wouldn't be home yet)... to leave us a two-liter bottle of soda, and a note saying that no one should cook on their first night home, so pizza will be delivered at 5:30... yeah... like my kids need ONE MORE PIECE OF PIZZA this week!!! (thoughtful, though!)

2nd load of laundry is already in, suitcases are empty and back in storage... now I'm working on downloading the pictures... looks like a good afternoon for a nap.
