Well, the good news is that our flight's not until 8:30, so as soon as Erin's doctor's appointment is over (3:00) we're heading to the airport. I'd rather spend a few hours there than worry about missing the flight!

Ok y'all. I've got to sign off now or I'll get nothing done. Everything is packed with the exception of sand toys for the girls ... if it doesn't fit, we won't be taking them. I've managed to get all of our stuff in to 1 large suitcase, 1 hanging bag, and 2 small suitcases.

See all of you on Sat. with the exception of Sharon who I'll see tomorrow evening.

Elizabeth just called... again... the tooth that she chipped a few months ago playing b-ball has chipped again... wonderful... she claims that 'its not a real big chip' (the first one wasn't either)... so I'm not rushing home to check it out... if it doesn't hurt, it can wait til after the cruise...

Now folks, I thought we agreed -- NO MORE Injuries, be they people, pets or Hedgehogs......

(Not even Memorial Day is a holiday for us... one of our busiest days of the year... glad I'll be on VACATION!!!)

Same with Sam, but I MADE him take tomorrow off....so we could relax before we cruised.....

Good Morning to All of my Favorite Cruising Friends!

It's me, Susan, and I am home, home, home! Yippeee!
Feeling OK, pain is controlled, walking around (don't want any dvt or pe's around here!), and not able to do any work...hey, post op isn't all that bad!!

I wanted to step in and say that I/we will really miss not being able to meet all of you who have helped make the long awaited cruise bearable (we booked this in Feb 05).

I am really sad about it, but know that all things work together for good and that the Lord really has taken good care of me. It is so nice to have my Honey home for a good portion of my recovery.

The boys are taking this whole thing very well. I am so pleased. We are hoping to "surprise" them with some sort of trip later in the year.

Thank you all for your kind words, prayers, pd, and thoughts. You are a tremendous group.

Please know that I'll eagerly search the boards for someone's trip report. I hope someone will be writing one, so those of us who are left behind will have something to relish.

You all are truly the BEST!

I've backtracked enough to find your post. For Army Family and others out there - Happy Memorial Day.....

Glad that you are home and please be careful so you can have a great recovery. We will miss you but you are very loved by your family. They are so considerate. We had good reports thus far. We'll wave to you....Go ourside, if you can on Saturday and turn to the Port.....That glow on the horizon, that is us sending pixie dust your way!!!!

Well, mostly, anyway. The two big suitcases are packed with foldable stuff. The hanging stuff will go in in the morning. The small bag for tomorrow night and Saturday has a pile of stuff on top of it to go it. And our carry on stuff still has to be organized. But I'm starting to think that it may actually all come together in time...

Thank you for the wishes. The boys will now be marching in the town Parade. It should be great. Hopefully, we'll have a cook out too on our "Topsider's Buffet" deck! We've decided to rename every room--the blessing is that now we have a VERANDAH!!! (Our front porch!)

Hey, we may even be smart enough to have a drink and some party music on too! Now that we have some....!
