5/17/03 Eastern Cruise.. Who is going?

We are expecting a blizzard here tomorrow. I keep thinking that 3 months from today I will be heading for the Raddison, and 3 months from tomorrow, we will be boarding the Magic, with no snow in the forcast. Will winter never end?

Hope all of you are well, and I think the idea of shopping for cruise clothes is great!! But my husband says that I have to use the ones I bought for last year, and the year before. But, he doesn't know what I have, so....................

Keep warm and dry.

Donna

Hi all! Sure hope you folks up north can get shoveled out by cruise time. Just talked to DIL in Pennsylvania; she says it is a mess up there. They got about 24" of snow. Seriously, hope all are well, and warm and safe. Think WARM.......

Hi Squiggle,

We got quite a storm yesterday too, my husband is out clearing our drive so that I can go to work today!!! Thought I would get the day off, oh well, more $$$$ to spend on the cruise.

Less than 3 months to go, so guess I'll make it.

Ok....we are not 100% positive...but it is looking like we might be joining you guys on the 5/17 cruise!!!! I just read through the whole thead to try and get caught up.

It is very errie.....because way back on page 2 or 3 I posted how I should join you all because 5/17 is my Birthday!!!! MJASP wrote back saying I should switch from July 19 to May 17.....never thought it would happen but as things turn out we could not go in July and are seriously looking at 5/17...I'll be the one with the Birthday Girl crown on!!!

DARWIN91...don't know if you got airfare yet...but I did book our airfare just yesterday.....$135 R/T pp from JFK to MCO!!! I could not believe it. Booked online at www.delta.com. We would fly down on 5/17 7:30 am flight and return on the 24th on the 7:30 pm flight. The cheapest air fare I have seen in many a day!!!

Still trying to working out the cruise details, but anyway I will be in the state of Florida one way or another starting 5/17.

We have done the Eastern last Feb and did the Western on 8/3/02 and 1/4/03. Looking forward to the Eastern again with that extra day at sea.

If we go it will be myself, hubby, DD19. Also our friends and their 8 mos. old and 2.5 year old. Unfortunately our DD15 and DS18 will not be able to join us due to High School. I already took them out a week in Jan and cannot do it again. They are bummed but understand. We had promised friends of ours that we would sail with them if they ever decided to try DCL with their two little ones and they could only go in May of this year.

Hope to see you all onboard...I will let you know when/if we deposit. Check out the dining rotation charts I created to try and plan your Palo's night!!!

Do we really have to wait that long? I could be ready to go in an hour if I had the chance!!!!!! I'm tired of the cold, and snow up here.
But on the plus side, we have 11 weeks of dreaming of the Magic. Got my passporter this week, and have read cover to cover.

Stay warm, and keep thinking SUN.....

Hi, everyone! Couln't get on the Boards for about 2 weeks. That was not a good time! Could only access them at work and you know how that goes......................
Seems to be working now. Many thanks to the Board Gurus for their hard work!!!!

11 weeks from right now we will be on the Magic! Was reading back on this thread and saw where I posted it was 41 weeks to go. Talking to all you nice people sure helps the time go by.

OK, you folks keep warm and think about all the warm weather clothes you have to buy - SOON!

MMOUSE, BOOKED MY AIRFARE A FEW DAYS AGO. I GOT $154.00 ROUNTRIP N/S FROM JFK TO MCO VIA DELTA. WE ARE COMING IN ON FRIDAY AND STAYING AT THE RADISSON.

HAVE TO MAKE MY FINAL PAYMENT BY TUESDAY. HAD TRANSFERRED MY RESSIE TO COSTCO AFTER I HAD BOOKED ONBOARD LAST YEAR. THEY REQUIRE 75 DAYS BEFORE.

DARWIN91....we usually always fly down the day before and stay at the Radisson but due to work restraints this year we have to fly down that morning. Hubby is actually working midnight shift and we are leaving for the airport as soon as he arrives home that morning!! You also got a great price for airfare!!!

The Radisson has a great pool area!!!! Hope the weather is nice and warm for sailaway....our last two cruises we had to have sailaway indoors due to horrible rain!!!

MJ

We stayed at the Radisson last year for the Western Inaugural. The hotel was nice. The service at the restaurant is a bit SLOW however, I would probably go elsewhere for a meal this time. The kids loved the pool area and we are traveling with my DD 5 and our friends who have a DS 7 so they will love it. If they are happy, then we are happy:D

Its really dull and wet and grey here in the UK today....so I can't wait for our honeymoon cruise.......yippee, just 69 days til we jet out of here!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

It is ssooooo cold here in New York. I can't wait to lay on a lounge chair on a caribbean beach with a frozen drink.

sounds good to me!:)

we're lucky we don't get the extreme cold here, just grey and wet!

Not long now til the sunshine though:Pinkbounc

The sun is finally breaking out of the clouds here. It is supposed to get up to 82 today. I am so ready for the cruise.

10 weeks and 2 days till we leave for Port Canaveral!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Well, folks I might be pregnant! I won't know till around the 15th!

Of course I am scared since I had a miscarriage in December.

You all will laugh when I tell you the following: if I am pregnant the baby is "a little souvineer from Disney World"! ;)

We stayed at the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort last weekend. Boy, does the newly remodeled food court and restaurant look great!

Has anyone decided on their shore excursions for the cruise?

Will be saying a prayer for you, and I love the fact that it might be a real "Disney" made baby. The 15th will be here before you know it, and I know all of us will be keeping our fingers crossed.

82 degrees? boy am i jealous, it's been cold will be warming up a little today but rainy, maybe snow tomorrow

Oh well, off to work......
