Question.... I have December in group 5 (I think). I went to my LSS and found a super cute box of holiday embellishments - buttons, alphabet, pointsettias, and a stack of holiday quotes/sayings/definitions. I'll pick out the specifically Christmas quotes, etc, but is it ok if they all aren't exactly the same? There's stuff like December, stockings, joy, peace, mistletoe, tradition, etc. The paper is sll the same. This is another one of my hurricane projects......

I hate transferring the numbers..but it enables me to weed out those I don't need....

so what is the status on the new phone for you and DH..

We are going dress shopping shortly.. just looking....no buying today... gotta wait for another set of photos to come in!!!

I don't mind them not all being the same... I don't know that others will have an issue with it either.. sometimes you need to change it up so its okay by me!!!

I don't mind them being different but equal. I do that on different swaps- everyone gets a specific type of sticvker and shaped brad/eyelet but maybe not the exact same one. It isn't worth buying that many of the same package unless you are using everything in it.

I am totally fine with them being different but equal. I do this all the time with paper and stickers. I make sure everyone gets equitable stuff but I try to use my stash.

BAMB - Oooooo, an IPhone! I am trying to talk DH into a Blackberry but I think I'll have to wait 'til my birthday since we are doing WDW for Christmas. Can you "beam" your numbers to your new phone? That's what I did for mine.

I'm fine with different but equal too - agree wiht Rebecca, you really don't want to end up with 3 pakcages of identical stuff with maybe 1/3 used on each!

Please make sure you punch out the slots at the bottom (they sell punches for this at Staples). Several of us have the punch and are willing to share. You can either purchase blank cards and decorate over them or cut out from cardstock.

I went looking for 4x4 cards to cover over...nada.... has anyone tried to find these? I was in Office Depot.

I was able to get a punch though

I just cut them out of cardstock. The tabs ended up as circle punches -I couldn't get my Xyron to cut properly evn with a new mat and new blade.

Are y'all rounding the corners on these? Do we need to know that so we can all be consistent or are we not concerned about that?

I just cut out of cardstock...

ETA: I didn't round my corners... but if I need to, I'm going to have to redo all my November ones.. But it'll be okay...

I need to go grab a punch because I don't really want to spend a lot of time cutting them w/ the xacto knife!!!

I'd say don't round the corners. That way if you want to round them, you can do it yourself and they will all match. The OC person in me would be much happier!

I'm not concerned one way or the other that they be rounded. I DO PREFER that they all be consistent though as I know many are gifting these and I think consistency would be better from a gift-giving aspect.

I'd rather round my own too... I agree for the gift giving it would look better to all be with the same punch...
