I found out why!!! the ringer and speaker capabilities on my phone died. I can hear on the ear piece and the head set, but if I put speaker on it's dead! Same for texts, alarms, and ringing!!!

ERGH!!!! So I am off to buy a new phone this weekend. just what I wanted.

no, it was working 2 days ago, then I noticed yesterday I would get texts but I didn't hear the blip, but passed it off as just not noticing. I have the ringer on vibrate then ring and I felt my pocket shake but then no ring. I'm like what the heck, mom was with me so I had her call my phone after I set it to vibrate and ring, no ring. DH had sent me a text too and nothing.

Of course this means moving alllllll my Numbers! Thank goodness I don't have any pics on it.

Do you have a contract with a company? When we get new phones through Verizon Wireless the techs there can transfer all our contacts from the old one to the new.

I do but they are stored in my phone, not the sim card. I suppose they could sync them but there a few I need to delete anyway. I just transfered them to my computer but I will see if ATT can move them.

I think DH is going to give me his iPhone and he'll get the new one, he needs more memory.
