Which Park on the 4th of July? How will the crowds be the 4 th of July weekend?

MK is definitely the most crowded on July 4th. It closes when it gets filled to capacity on the 4th. We usually go to Epcot because it is more manageable and not as crowded.

MGM shows Sorcery in the Sky on the 4th, so that park is also crowded at night. And AK is only open until 5pm.

If you really have your heart set on the MK, then make sure you go early so you don't get closed out later in the day because the park has filled to capacity.

Has any one staying on disney property ever got turned away from the mk on July 4th. If so what time during the day did it happen. I'm want to go to a less crowded park that day and then go to the mk at night. What time do you think you would have to be there to be admitted. Thank You

We're hoping that we can return late in the day to MK.
I really don't want to stay in the park all day just to make sure we see the fireworks. Hate to be turned away later though !
