4th of July Park Events

I know this sounds crazy, but... We are planning to be at the Magic Kingdom on July 4, 2006. I checked on line to see what special events were planned at MK for that day and they list none. Nothing. No parades, no fireworks, no nothin'. Is this possible? Has anyone been at MK or Epcot on the 4th in previous years? I can't believe they would do nothing?
