4th of July Fireworks Viewing

Hi All!

I'm curious, do you have to be a guest at one of the monorail resorts to watch the 4th of July fireworks at MK from one of their beaches? I've searched but I can't find the answer anywhere.

This thread has some info. Pretty sure Poly is restricted to guest there based on this thread. They seem to indicate you could also have an ADR to get access to the beach too. CR wouldn’t have a great view, IMO, unless at California Grill. There is the deck on the 4th floor but that could be restricted.

As for the GF I have no idea what is available there.

We watched the fireworks from the area in front of Gasparilla's at the GF. It was a great view and they piped in the music.

Does anybody have recent experience with being able to hit the beach after an Ohana ADR? We did this quite regularly in the past, but this is our first trip since 2015. We have an ADR for 7/4.

The beach area may be reserved for Polynesian Concierge guests or just Polynesian guests. You could always watch from the TTC.

Last year, the Poly beach was limited to guests staying on site. Housekeeping left green wristbands in our room. There were MANY nonresident guests on the walkways behind the beach, however. We watched the fireworks from the DVC event at CR on July 3rd. I would not watch from there again. It was a very disappointing view.
