4th of July at Universal?

My family and I are considering spending the 4th of July at Universal...what type of plans do they have? Has anyone ever been there over the 4th?

We have been at Universal the past two July 4ths. IOA and US and CityWalk all set off GREAT fireworks displays. It was wonderful. Both US and IOA have fireworks nightly thereafter.

It's fun and we plan on going back this year. The fireworks are awesome!

I am so happy to hear that others will be there for July 4th. We go every year too! We will be there for 10 days. Maybe we could try and do a greet and meet?

Since some of you have been to the parks during this holiday, can you tell me how busy it is during the 4th? I haven't been to Universal for about 10 years, but we did Disney in mid June 2 years ago and the crowds were about as big as we could take.
I obviously need to decide our vacation dates soon, so . . . help !!!!

They get extremly busy during the 4th holiday. If your an onsite guest go ahead and have fun if you choose not to do onsite i say pick another date. I would'nt go anytime with out being on site but to go in a holiday busy season would be a definetly no no.

We go during the 4th almost every year and yes it is busy but not unbearable. We do not stay onsite and have found that the express pass has been sufficient enough for us.
