4th of July at the Fort

I read some were for the 4th MK fireworks are going to be 360 if you have not seen that it is cool.

The fireworks are really cool for the 4th. The best places to see them are the the Grand Floridian and Poly.

If you are going to watch from the Grand Floridian how early do you think you need to get there to get a spot? Were trying to decide where to watch. I also heard that Epcot has great 4th of July fireworks.

we usually head over around 3:00- the transportation takes ALOT longer that day, plus you have to take a boat to MK and then another to GF. If we end up there a little early, then we hang out at GF, pick up a few snacks and get a good spot to watch them. We waited until 5:00 one year and almost didn't make it.

Look forward to seeing you there...Still awaiting the arrival of our banner. Peg called today and Oriental Trading is making a 2nd banner and Fed Exing it to us, because we still have not recieved the 1st one through the usps. Who knows maybe we will have 2.

My sisters will have their golf carts in the parade and have bought tons of stuff to decorate with and throw to the crowds. Can't wait!!!

They had no info on the parade yet, said they will have info 2 weeks out. Hi everybody. We're new to the forum but not to Disney. We'll be arriving in FW on 6/25 and staying through 7/7 . Its our Daughters' 2nd trip(11 and 8), my wifes 3rd and my 8th. We'll be pulling the TT from CT.

Well, Fed Ex came today and delivered the banner. Below is a picture of it. Think it will be mounted on the front of our cart. If the 2nd one arrives, we will hang it from the balcony. Also have some green Mickey heads(did you know they make about 4 shades of lime green Mickey heads?) Going to get some more Mickey heads, going to put a few of them on the banner and leave them in the cup holder on the cart.If you see the cart and banner, and want a few Mickey heads, feel free. Also going to put green bulb into the Mickey lamp post we built.

I haven't stayed in FT Wilderness since probably the 1980's but I always go down there to do the trail rides whenever I can. I popped over to this board to see if anything special was going on during the 4th and had to comment on your little camper it put a smile on my face as the little smiley people came out, the satelite dish went up very cute

Woo hoo!!!! MY BIL sent me an email today and was able to add Friday June 29 to our reservation at FW, a few extra hours at the fort!!!
