4pm ADR at 1900

I have an ADR for 1900 Park Fare dinner at 4:00. I was just looking around online and saw somewhere that the characters for that meal don't meet until 4:30. Does this really mean my family will be sitting around 30 minutes before any characters will make an appearance? Do you think it matters? Should I attempt to switch my time to 4:30? Or do you think that 30 mins will be beneficial bc we can get our food and actually be ready when the characters arrive?

I would stick with the 4:00. By the time you get taken to your table then you go check out the food offerings and fill your plates and get back to the table and start to eat they will start coming around. It will be nice to check everything out and get settled without having to worry you're missing someone or having to rush to get back to the table so you don't.

It's actually awesome that they won't show until 4:30, because it's a buffet! You'll have time for everyone to get plates before anyone makes an entrance, and you won't be playing a game of "try to get plate... is that someone coming to the table???!?!"

This is the same reason I like AYCTE character meals!

More character, less tripping over other people's kids on the way from the buffet line because a character is about to visit your table.

1900 Park Fare has ALWAYS been one of the places that is ALWAYS running behind...keep the early ADR and relax and get situated before the characters start making their rounds. By 4:30pm, you could be waiting on seating depending on how many ADRs are sat prior to you.
