45th anniversary merch

I was planning on buying one of the 45th anniversary pins in May when we go to WDW.
Some of the stuff was on the app for a while.

Now the pin I want is not.

Based on years past and pin availability, do you think I will be able to buy the pin when I go in May or should I try to have a friend who is going later this month look for it?

I would have bought it online if I had known it would sell out.

Are any of the pins still in the parks? I want the one in the middle -- the castle.

I cannot say for sure, but my understanding is that the Tinkerbell, Mickey, and Castle pins are open edition pins and should be available for several months. There were many castle pins in most shops in the MK with pins when I was there a week ago. Again, cannot say for sure, but I would think that the open edition pins will be available for several months, though they may go in and out of stock. If you really want to make sure to get one, I would recommend keeping an eye on the app and maybe trying to get one if it becomes available there again. They run sales every now and then too, so you might even be able to get a discount on it. I actually purchased my 45th pins from the app while I was down there because the app was running a 25% off almost everything sale. I even got the Passholder pin that way, even though I'm not a Passholder. The app did not flag it as Passholder and let me purchase the pin. I didn't know it was a Passholder one until I picked up my order at my resort gift shop and saw the card the pin was on.

Ok, thanks for this. Very helpful. I will stalk to app but I will also send some cash down with my friend and just have her pick it up.
Several of the other pins are on the app but not the one I want.

I should have bought during that sale! I had a cartful and just didn't. Silly.

It's good to know they had them last week.

I was there on oct. 1 and will be back this weekend and next and I can tell you they had a lot of some of the pin you posted I have heard that they should no run out f them. but any thing could happen I would have your friend pick up a pin for you so that you know for sure you have what you want.

Thanks! That will be my plan. I want the shirt too but I'm not worried about it if they run out. I really want to try it on. It looks like a weird shape in the pics.

I have both the regular and AP shirts and they are true to size ( I am a small and the small fits me fine) no weird shape at all


You could have your friend buy it for you I think you can return things on line

Lower right. It looks really weird here but in the one on the shop parks app, it looks like it's more of a raglan style sleeve and not cropped. I think this was pre-production imagery.

I saw that shirt and almost got it from looking at the store I do not remember it being a fitted one at all. ( but I did look at a number of shirts as I had a buy any items golden ticket for any store )

Where do I find out how to buy merchandise online? We are not going for the 45th, although we were there for the 25th!! I still want the merchandise. We won't go until their 50th now.

I would definitely have your friend pick it up if they can find it. We were there last week and we were trying to collect the mystery box set. We had a really hard time finding the 45th mystery boxes. We saw the Mickey pin, lanyard medal and Tink pin about everywhere. I don't think we ever saw the one you wanted - the castle-- I'm 90% positive that if I had seen that one, I would have bought it. I expect they will restock- but if your friend can find it, I would get it now.
