ME doesn't have to leave. The Board of Directors could just seperate the Chairman and CEO positions and keep ME, they could leave things the way they are or they could fire ME, which I don't think will happen.
ME's contract is up in 2006, so he may just stay on, which is what he appears to want. I wish we knew what was really in Michael's heart and what his intentions were. If he really believes in the company and wants to make it better, let him do it. If, however, he just wants to stay on and rake in the big salary, which in business terms is perfectly acceptable, I wish he would step aside and let someone else bring Disney back to it's former glory.
