My husband officially turned 39 AND A HALF yesterday. (We know this, because the kids pointed out today that they are 7 1/2.) Yes, our triplets' bday is the day after my husbands, and after years of getting the shaft, they know that this year, it's all about Daddy!
So any good ideas on how to celebrate the big 4-0? I'd like to try to keep it to a party at home, but July is hot, so I cannot see many people hanging outside for long. I am just looking for one creative idea that we can do during the celebration to make it special. (I suggested going to WDW to celebrate all 4 bdays, but was shot down....I think the phrase about FL being hotter than heck in July was in there!)
Thoughts?

What is your DH into? Any particular sport? Maybe some particular kind of food? I would take whatever it is he likes, and focus the celebrations around that. Get the kids to help as much as possible with the prep work so they can feel involved too...
...which I'm sure you would do anyway.
