401 days 'till Disney!!! But who's counting?!?! 07/18

Hey guys!! I just wanted to update you all on my ADRs!! I think we've finally got what we want....(except for the first night...if we can get Be Our Guest ADRs we'll cancel what we have right now.) But here they are!!!

11/22--nothing...we'll be getting in late.
11/23--Tony's for dinner @ MK
11/24-- Yak & Yeti for lunch @ AK
11/25-- Sci-Fi Drive-in for lunh @ DHS
11/26-- Via Napoli for lunch @EPCOT
11/27-- Le Cellier for lunch @ EPCOT
11/28-- 'Ohana for dinner @ EPCOT

That's it for now!! Next update, I will do another day of our upcoming trip so you can see what we have planned for each day! I have kind of been slacking in that department! lol

Okay, I think I have been confusing myself with dining credits.
We are staying 7nights 8days...so that means I have 7 TS credits right?! (If I'm doing DDP) or is it 8?

If so, then I'm booked with my credits...if it's 8 I still have one more...oh Disney problems!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! We are at the 144 day mark for our trip!! It’s finally dwindling down! I thought it would never get in the hundreds! Lol Now we are here on the downhill slope of the hundreds! YAY!
I’m finally going to do day two of our upcoming trip!! These are just rough plans—just some of the things I want to get done! If we can add some stuff on top of this, great; if not, I have other days at both parks we are going to this day!
So here we go!
Saturday, November, 24th (7 Crowd Level)
The plan for this day is to wake up fairly early, get ready, and then go get some breakfast!

I can’t wait to try POP waffles!
After our breakfast, we will hop on the bus to AK—in hopes to make it to RD!

I can’t wait to see this in person!
Here’s what we want to get done:

We’ll want to do this early; either first thing, or after EE!

I can’t wait to ride this again, multiple times!

I’m excited to see this again, and Nemo, too—I can’t find the picture I stole off of google! lol

We’ll see if it scares me this time, it probably will! haha

I really love this attraction—it’s so fun!

We didn’t’ ride this last year, because it was down for refurb—so we’ll definitely have to try it out this time!

We’ll also try to hit up all of the trails! We’ll be back later in the week, too, so it’s no big deal if we don’t get them all done today!

For lunch this day we are off to Yak & Yeti!!! I can’t wait to try this out, and eat the lo mein!

After AK closes down for the day, we are not stopping!! We’ll head over to EPCOT!! Yoohoo!
We are just going to wander around WS and see what we can, and really just soak up the atmosphere! I can just picture it now!!
We’ll grab dinner at a CS—either SS or a CS around WS! –that’s A LOT of letters! lol
I’m contemplating trying out a drink this night—I don’t drink—like ever, so I’m going to stick with one a night! Hahaha (if that many) I’m either leaning toward a Grey Goose Slushie or a margarita from Mexico!! I guess we’ll see! There are only two things on my agenda this night—This:

MMMMMMM!
And This:

Everything else we accomplish is just icing on the cake!

Love your ADRs! You have some great places booked! I can't believe how cold it was on your Disneymoon! We went in February once and it was warm! Sure, it wasn't ridiculously hot like it is in Sept, but it was still surprising!

Day 2 sounds fun! I think you will enjoy Yak & Yeti. I went there when it first opened & remember the food being really good. The atmosphere is awesome too. Make sure you take a walk around the restaurant & check out the decor.

Make sure you get a margahrita from the Tavern INSIDE Mexico across from the 3 Cab ride...not from outside from QS or a cart. You have to have the good stuff...maybe even a Tequila flight!

It was pretty chilly on out honemoon! some days were worse than others! In the morning I always needed either a jacket or a coat! haha During the afternoon, I was fine with a long sleeved shirt or a light jacket, and then at night, I needed my coat again! hahaha

It will be nice for it to be a little warmer for this upcoming trip!!

Hey guys!! Sorry for the inactivity this past week! I've been SUPER busy!! I'll try to post a legitamate update soon, but I have a major question for ya'll!
So, I'm sure you guys have heard that Free Dining is supposedly going to be released tomorrow for the public--Well, the dates for FD that would work for me are November 23-29---ONE DAY after I check in(I check in the 22nd right now)!! BOOOOO hahahaha
So here's my question: Can I change my dates tomorrow and still get Free Dining?! Or do you have to rebook or anything like that? If I can just move my dates back one day, I'm totally down for it! And plane tickets are the same prices for both days, and I wouldn't feel rushed on Thanksgiving day with my family!!

Any tips would be helpful! Thanks, friends!

You can do it a couple of different ways. The first would be to simply check in on a day FD is included. As long as your check-in date is included in the promo you can get FD for up to 14 days. The second option is to book the first night room only and the rest of the stay as a package. You can make changes to your current booking provided there are rooms available under the promo.

If you can change to the 23rd, I think it would to make things a lot more enjoyable on the home front. It was really hard rushing around trying to leave with it being the holidays. I know you want to get to WDW...but starting off in at a slower pace might make the trip more enjoyable?!

I am down to 17 days, and I believe I started my count down on my computer well over a year ago. Time does fly. I think the planning is a big part of the fun. Enjoy it. Look forward to following your thread.

Okay, today I have had such an array of emotions that have occured in my body!
It all started at 4:57 a.m. when I woke up to get ready for the day, eat breakfast, and get ready to call to change my dates and get FD!!!
It all was going good. I got on the phone right when WDW opened up their lines. 40 minutes later when I was still on hold, my finger accidentally hit the "end call" button!!!! I was SO mad!!!
Ben was awake at that time, and was a great husband and said he would call for me again. He waited on the phone for an HOUR AND THREE MINUTES and he got DISCONNECTED!!! We were both SO upset! I almost cried. Twice.

I had kind of given up hope because I thought for sure that we wouldn't be able to get FD now since it had been so long, and I had to go to work! I didn't want to have Ben mess with it all day, but I was so torn on what to do!

Well, lo and behold my WONDERFUL husband texts me at about 1:30 pm and tells me he called, we got our dates changed WITH FREE DINING!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY

Now here is beautiful Disney math:
We originally had 7 day park hoppers with QSD and still owed $286 on our package.
When Ben called, we upgraded to the regular dining plan and got FREE dining.
At the end of it all, our balance got knocked down from $286 to $15!!!!!

So we are officially paid off!!!!!!!!!

Praise God!!!

AND, we've decided we are going to drive to Dallas after we spend time with my family on Thanksgiving and go see Ben's mom who lives there--then fly out of Dallas that Friday! The plane tickets are SO MUCH cheaper from Dallas to MCO than from my hometown!!!
Instead of $1004.40 we'd only have to pay around $700. PLUS I have a $350 voucher, so we'll only have to pay $350ish ROUND TRIP!!
AHHHH I can't handle my excitement!!!!!!!! God is so good!!!

LET MY OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE PLANNING BEGIN FOR REAL!!!!
