401 days 'till Disney!!! But who's counting?!?! 07/18

Hey guys! I hope you are all still with me, and I hope you are all doing well! It’s been an overwhelming couple of weeks over here! Sometimes it just feels like there isn’t enough time in the day to get everything accomplished! Haha
Nothing much has changed as of now for our November trip! Ben still doesn’t know if he’ll get all the days off, so I guess we’ll see!
I still haven’t bought our plane tickets or our MVMCP tickets yet! I know, I’m slacking! There is just SO much to do in my life right now, I just tend to get overwhelmed and end up doing nothing! Am I the only one that does that?! It’s completely possible! LOL
I am soooo looking forward to November! I can’t wait till the trip! I just hope I have some time to get some good planning in soon! At least I have good ADRs already, that makes me a rest a little easier at night!
I hope everyone has a great weekend; I have to go to a seminar today for 7 hours, so I technically only get like 1 day of a weekend---BUT my boss is awesome and let me leave work at 11 yesterday, and I get paid for today, too! So, it’s not TOO bad! Lol

Let’s get back to MK in Feb 2011!​

After we ate at Cosmic Ray’s, we headed to one of my FAVORITE rides! I know it’s probably not a common favorite ride among you guys, but I LOVE IT! YAAAY for the Teacups! Ben and I both really enjoyed this ride on our trip! It’s so simple, but yet so fun!! I actually have a picture of the teacups in DLR as my background on my phone!

This is the second time we rode it this trip, and unfortunately the last! BUT we only have 5 more months ‘till we can ride it again!

As we walked out of the ride we noticed the White Rabbit and Tweedle Dee & Dum were out greeting, but we decided to skip on that—but not before I snapped a picture!

I loved the topiaries by the teacups!

I’m not sure if we rode Pooh after that; I have a picture of it, but I could have been just taking pictures!

We also noticed a trio playing some music, and listened to that for a minute!
Ben and I were really just enjoyed each other’s company and walking around, and we enjoyed taking pictures with the characters on the walls! LOL

Love that fountain! At that time, I didn’t know that you could line up the shot and have the crown look like it’s on Cinderella’s head—but I’ll know for next time! Haha

Liberty Square! We had a great time playing around there! Ben loves history so I made him take a picture in front of the Liberty Bell!

And then, of course, we had to take the obligatory pictures!

We really wanted to ride HM again, but the line was too long (the only long line of the trip!) and we decided to skip it!

Since this was my first time at WDW, I wanted to try almost everything—so next up was Swiss Family Tree House!

I actually thought it was pretty neat to see, and the view was great! I wouldn’t have to go every trip, but I thought it was pretty cool!

This face means he’s officially tired of taking pictures! (I’m proud he lasted this long! Lol)

We then headed to Jungle Cruise! It was corny and fun! Ben and I really enjoyed that!

After JC, we decided to ride the magic carpets again! Haha I guess we are partial to kid rides, because I really enjoy this ride!

We rode POTC again, and I had to play with the shackles after the ride!

When we walked out of the gift shop, we ran into the Pirate show, and watched it for a little while! It was pretty cute! I really like it!

After being tutored in being a pirate, we headed towards Frontierland!

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen the 'Tweedles' out before! Very cool! The teacups are a lot of fun... so are the Magic Carpets! The way I see it, it's only a kid ride if it's too small for an adult. SO there ya go! hahah.

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are super cute! I hope I see them on our next trip! My husband was a lot like that when we first got married. His family rarely took pictures when he was growing up. I have converted him, though, he likes having the pictures after the fact, so he is game for pictures any time, any place!

Yes, for sure! I enjoyed the treehouse, too! And I love our pics together, too! I was so proud of him actually taking so many pictures with me, and smiling in most of them! haha He doesn't like to take pictures very often! Add having to smile so much on our wedding day for pictures, and 7 days of pictures at WDW, DH was a trooper! hahaha

hahaha I love your logic! I wholeheartedly agree on the kid ride subject! Ben and I are just kids at heart, in pretty much all things! It makes for an interesting marriage! haha

I think the Tweedles are cute, too! We were all for taking pictures with characters when the lines weren't too long; so I'm guessing their line was too long or we would have stopped! That acutally really surprised me about DH, that he actually was alright with taking pictures with the characters! I didn't think he would have anything to do with it! We didn't take any pics with "face" characters, because we are both pretty shy, and I think it would have been awkward for us! I'm going to try to do one "face" character meet in November and see how it goes!

haha I thought our Jack Sparrow really looked like the real deal! Some of the one's I've seen from pictures on here don't even look like him at all! (to me, atleast!)

You should look for the Minnie hat in October; I bet they still have it! (It's in the children's section )

Hey everyone!! I hope you are all having a great weekend!! This weekend has been a pretty fast, but great one!!
Friday night Ben and I went to see Brave at the local drive-in theatre we have here, and it was SUCH a blast!! He and I have never been there before, and we had so much fun! It was awesome being able to lay back in your car, and roll down the windows and have the night air blow in! The only draw-back for me was that it started at 9:30, so by the time the movie was about ¾ of the way over, I fell asleep for about 5 minutes! So that was a bummer, but after I woke up I was re-energized and finished the movie strong! Hahaha It was GREAT movie! Ben and I really enjoyed it! I’ve seen advertisements for the movie, but I didn’t really know the story line, but it sure didn’t disappoint!
The Pixar short they played before the movie was so stinking cute, so you all need to be sure to go watch it! ALSO they showed the trailer for Monster University!! I’M SO SO SO excited to watch this movie!! It looks so cute! Too bad it doesn’t come out until Sept 2013! Lol We have a ways to wait!

Let’s get back to our MK day!!​

We had just hopped over to Frontierland, and saw some cute characters! The line was really long again, so we didn’t stop! But, of course, I had to take some pictures!

We hadn’t ridden the train yet this trip, so we decided to hop on!

We didn’t stay on for the full loop, but we want to in November! We enjoyed our ride, and decided to head over to Laugh Floor! (I got confused in one of my earlier posts! This is the time where they picked Ben to be on camera and dance—he did so good! Haha)
That attraction is so great!

We ran into the castle show again, but didn’t stop! We will in November, though!

We decided to look around the shops on Main Street for a while! I love to do that! There are so many great things to look at, and Ben and I had such a great time! That is one memory I’ll always remember—Ben and I just spending time strolling Main Street USA!
We ran into a parade after our shopping excursion!

That little parade was pretty cute!!
After the parade we crossed the street and looked at the shops on the other side of Main Street! It was this night that I started to get cotton candy every night during the trip!! Hahaha
We went into the confectionary to get a snack before we staked out our spot of the MSEP!

We had to waste some time until the parade started, so we took one of my favorite pictures of the trip!
We literally are huge dorks! No lie!

Then I wanted to take a picture of the people across the street, I guess! Haha

I really liked this float!

I loved this parade! I seriously thought it was spectacular! I know some people here aren’t that big of fans of MSEP and prefer Spectro, but I haven’t seen Spectro so I guess I can’t compare them! Lol I guess ignorance is bliss in this respect! Lol
Also, I would just like to take this time to thank you all for reading my PTR!! I’ve never done one before, so thanks for hanging in there with me! Also, thank you for being patient while I reply to you all on here, and on your own PTRs and TRs! I’m really enjoying getting to know you all!! Also, I just wanted to let you know that my TR will have more detail involved because I’ll actually take notes and not wait till over a year after my trip to write about it! Haha
Anyways, I’ll leave you with this picture! It was such a perfect day, and I think you can tell from the look on our faces that we were truly having the time of our lives!

Hey, guys!! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! We’re halfway done!! It’s been a pretty good week for me so far. I’ve just been working! I’m travelling to different branches around our city to get some experience behind the teller line with my new job’s system... who knew it would be so different from my old bank!! It’s been a little stressful, because I didn’t think it would be this hard to adjust to a new way of doing things, but I’m getting it; thanks to God!! 
I’ve also done two teller training classes so far, and I LOVE doing it! It’s so fun, and my days fly by!! So I’ll be glad when I don’t have to be a teller every day, and actually get to do what I was hired to do! But, I know experience is good, and I want to be successful at my job—so whatever will achieve that will be good! 
Nothing too new on the trip front, except... I got Le Cellier!!!!! I have been checking every once in a while, but it was still booked solid! I stopped checking for about 3 weeks, and lo and behold, I checked on Monday... and I got it!! So instead of our Biergarten lunch ressie, we now have one for Le Cellier! I’m super excited! I think we still have one TS credit left, and I’m thinking I might add Biergarten somewhere in there, or maybe get a breakfast ADR! What do you guys think?! We don’t have any b-fast ADRs this trip, so it might be cool to get one—but Biergarten might be good too! Lol Let me know what you guys think!

Okay, back to the Disneymoon!​

This morning, we wanted to go back to AK! I know some of the people on the boards aren’t huge fans of AK, but I really do love it! There is just something about it that appeals to me—so we went back! (Ben likes it,too—probably mostly for EE!)
I want to say today had EMH’s; so we got up early, grabbed our daily breakfast at the food court, and headed to the bus stops!
It was COLD this morning!!! I’m a very cold natured person anyways, so today was just icing on the cake! I had a long sleeved shirt on, a hoodie, and a coat! However, you will notice in these pictures Ben only had a fleece pull-over on, so maybe I was overreacting! Haha

TOL—so pretty!
Since we had already been here once this trip, we knew exactly where we wanted to go—EE!!!
First, an atmosphere pic!

When we got to EE, there was maybe like 5 people in front of us---total walk on!! We had so so so much fun on this ride—I would have to say this is seriously one of our top 3 rides!

After our first ride, we noticed that the line was still short, so we hopped on again, and again, and again!! We could have gone on it even more, but we wanted to explore around some more; so we grabbed some FPs and headed out!
We’ll be back EE!

I was on a picture taking frenzy today! I won’t post all of them because I would seriously have to do like 7 separate posts to accommodate all of the pictures—so I’ll just show some of my favorites!
We stopped on the bridge and took pictures of each other!

From there, we went and rode Dinosaur again! It still scared us as much as the first time! It was fun, though! Right before we got to the platform to get off the ride, the ride stopped!! I was so glad we hadn’t been stuck inside the ride---talk about LOUD!! It took about 10 minutes before we were loaded out, then we were off!

We were having such a great day already!
We decided to go use our FPs at this time, and here we are---and I am an eskimo!

After that thrilling ride, we decided to go see the Flights of Wonder show! I really didn’t know if it would be good, but at this time during our trip, I had decided that anything Disney does here probably won’t be bad!! So in we went!

We really liked it!! I could see how it could get very corny and redundant if you went time after time, but I wouldn’t say “no” to going back! It was pretty neat! I especially liked when the parrot sang! Too cute! Ben even enjoyed it!
After FOW, we decided to go take more pictures and walk the trail under the TOL!

It was at this point where I took a picture every 3 steps! Hahaha
There is just soo much to take in and see on this trail! The TOL has so many animals carved into it, and I thought I needed to take a picture of all of them! Lol

AHHH I love Animal Kingdom! It's honestly my second favorite park! I wonder if yall saw Papa Kang when you were there. (He's my old man kangaroo friend that lives at AK. Yep.) I totally agree about the Tree of Life though. That thing seriously blows my mind and sometimes it's fun to just LOOK at it for a while.

I am always cold! Ben says I'm a reptile, and need a heat lamp all the time! hahaha
I seriously wear long sleeves even in the summer!
We are having a major heat wave right now, though..yesterday was 103!! I didn't need a sweater that day!! lol

But, Feb. at Disney, that's a different story, I was FREEZING! haha
I'm not so sure about Avatarland either. I'm not sure how that really fits in to Disney, but I'm not going to be against it right now. haha We'll see! lol

I'm super glad we got the reservation, too! Now we are offically booked for ADRs..right now atleast!
