40% off select nights/resorts in 2007

I used the "code" and have ressies at Poly. I called today with a question and the CRO was going on and on about how good this "targeted weeks" discount is. I don't know if that helps anyone, but I thought I would mention it.

If I was you, I would just try calling back and maybe you will get a different CM.

Oh, by the way.... Have you stayed at CBR before? If you did, did you like it? I was just curious bcause I have never been there before.

I just tried calling back after I posted. HAHA The first CM had the personlaity of a sponge in the desert. BLAH This second CM was fun to talk with. He said no promotionals are available for the fall to his knowledge. BLAH. I did tell him that we were thinking of becoming AP holders again (when he asked about tickets). He said, "Just get your AP and call us when the Passholder discounts are available" haha, so he was upfront and cool about that. I asked if Disney usually has codes for the AP. (played it off). He said Oh yah, minus some blackout dates for busy seasons.

It did feel akward because when I called back he pulled up my parties travel information (all 5 of us by name!). So I imagine that he could see that I had JUST called. LOL I guess we'll just AP it this year :) Our stay will be for 13 days, and we were considering the DDE.

Can't believe it. I figured "what the heck" and called since our dates fit into the ones posted. I found a code in someone's siggy on the code page. They are crediting me over $600.00:cool1: :cool1: Never hurts to ask!!

Sorry! I forgot to answer this! Yes I have and we love it! The three times I've visted Disney its where we stay! We resort hop to check out the others To see if we would like to chose a different location for our next visit. But so far CBR is our favorite.

 I called twice this AM and was told by two different CMs that there are no discounts available to us. We were interested in the Poly Aug 18-25, and I simply REFUSE to pay rack rate when others are getting 40% discounts for the same week, same resort.

You better believe I'm bitter! I know our WDW vacations don't come close to some of the regulars on this board who go multiple times a year and stay in Deluxe resorts, but we spent our honeymoon at WDW in 1991, and have stayed at several other Disney resorts since. We tell our friends and family how much we love WDW, and we've convinced others to visit, and have also have taken people with us. We've NEVER been offered a discount, or even so much as a stinking room upgrade, so we've stopped staying at Disney resorts altogether. We absolutely LOVED staying on property, but we aren't going to give Disney any more of our $$ for a room when they don't appreciate or acknowlege our return business in any way whatsoever. We haven't stayed in a Disney-owned resort since 1999, and this kind of random "this person gets a discount, but that one doesn't" garbage is precisely why.

I know Disney is a huge corporation that couldn't care less if our family stays on-site or not, because there are countless others lining up to happily pay full price for their rooms, but the Disney magic is starting to fade for us, and this kind of stuff is a major contributing factor.

Don't ask if you have discount attached to your account. Just tell them the code straight out.

I think the problem may be your check in date. I believe the start date for August is check ins of 8/21 and after. HTH!

Did you try a 11/3 check in? 11/4 is the first day of a black out period....

I totally agree with you. I have only been a Disney nut since 2003, but I have been constantly amazed at WDW's customer service. Booking a room is a major pain the rear. Most of the time, people don't even know what they booked. I cannot believe they do not provide the toll free # for everyone. In my opinion, they are very arrogant about booking their guests. They get away with it because people will stay at WDW anyway. I know of no one else who could get by with this and stay in business. Disney Magic!!!

It's not YOU that can't get the discount. It is YOUR DATES. You have to check in AFTER August 21 to be eligible. Try again if you can switch your vacation dates.

If you could change your dates a bit, the discount starts on Aug 21st. Thats what I had to do to get the 40% off. HTH!

Sorry, only read up to page 11, so not sure if I missed something or not. But, the WONDERFUL WEEKS OF DISNEY special is VERY real and available to EVERY one! As long as your dates are in the WWOD time frame, pretty simple.

Priced Beach Club for December 10-16th, 6 day hoppers and Dining, Standard View. Regular price is $4007.58. The code ( I won't post, but will gladly PM it out) reduced this to $3157.14! Savings of $850.44

FYI - The Swan and Dolphin have a special rate of $125 a night available from Aug 5 - Sept 15. You must book by Feb 15th. You can get more info by calling them at 1-888-828-8850 and ask for special SD125:) This might be an alternative for you if you can't get the Disney Code Rate since your dates fall within that time frame.

I was told that the e-mails and pins were given to people who haven't visited in a while. To get them to come back. So if you haven't stayed there in so long ,you should be on that list. I would call back again and explain your situation -NICELY-VERY NICELY- over and over until you get some where. Talk to a Supervisor. I had an issue a couple years ago- We booked in the spring for a fall trip. I read and reread the website DAILY! I never saw anything about free dining anywhere. I heard about it from someone and called to add it( we already paid for the dining plan) Well I missed the deadline by 2 days and they wouldn't budge. I said I have changed and added thing to my ressie several times and NO ONE ever mentioned free dining. He said- "Well, we don't HAVE to tell you"- I was HOT! Anyway, I called several cms and supers until I was in tears. I couldn't believe that we would be the only people paying for dining during a free dining promo!!! I finally spoke with a very nice super -while crying- and they did refund a good chunk of the dining charge. So be nice and tell them your issues. It can help.

Ok, just called back with a November 3rd check in. NO go. LOL The CM said "reregister on disneys website" and i should get an email pin soon. LOL he was so postive and optimistic. hehehe

Ok, I just checked for you, on WDW website it would be $3,445.23.:)

Thanks to those of you who looked this up for me,I thought it was a great deal. I will be glad when I can get confirmation on this because it does sound too good to be true.
Thanks again!!!!!!!
:)
