40% off select nights/resorts in 2007

when I called I just said I saw a code and could I use it on the room... nothing else was said to me about a pin, I saved $730, for 2 rooms at sports (was the only value left for when I tried to book maybe I'll try to call and get into pop later down the road)

OT, but can anyone log in on the disneyworld.com site? I have been trying & trying. The page just keeps coming back to the log in--as if I put in the wrong password or something--which I didn't...

If your doing it as a room only code then all you have to pay is the one night deposit within 14 days of making the reservation and the rest is do apon check in. What I mentioned only applies to room only reservations.

:thumbsup2

Took me quit a few tries earlier as well not sure what is happening. But I did eventually get on.

Good luck

Is that march-April deal jsut for you? I called ofr deals in March and there were none. I've called 3 times!

No. The deal was for anyone. I hadn't even given him any of my information yet! I think it just depends on who you talk to. I mentioned a code I saw in this thread, he may have been referring to that. :confused3

I'm all about people saving money and no, I don't really agree with the way Disney does their marketing. However, that's how it is.

That being said, I am a little put off when we actually DID get the pin code and I wasn't able to book our first choice b/c it was sold out for the promo price. I have a feeling if only the people who actually got the pin code were booking, I would have had no problem getting what we wanted. Just a thought... Good luck to everyone. :)

I have to agree with you.

Yep. I would hate to be someone who checks in and is told that they have to pay an addition $1500 because they code they had applied wasn't good.

I think anytime special documentation is required for a special rate, it is listed on the confirmation (ie: AP rate requires a valid AP at check, same for FL resident rates).

I think anyone that got the 40% rate without a pin or anything mentioned on the reservation would have good reason to be pretty upset at check-in if asked to pay RR.

Now, if WDW calls those folks within the next few weeks, so be it, but at check in, NO WAY.

Oh I agree that it wouldn't be right to except it at booking then at check in so sorry you have to pay X amount more because the code is bad. It sounds like they would probably call prior and let you know as some other have mentioned. Like I said, this came from a CM and you know how that is sometimes, ask 5 CMs and your likely to get 5 different answers.

I agree. By check in, this should be honored. I would be fuming if I arrived and was told I had to pay even more money. And there's no way I would pay more. Telling me well before (as in the next few weeks) is fine. But it would be unacceptable to wait until check in to tell someone they have to pay more money.

To me that doesn,t sound right. Because if it was a package it would have to pd in full by 45 days before you go. And then in about 30 days they would send your pkg. So I don,t see how they could say when you ck in you owe more money.

I would love a discount. I was feeling OK about not having one until I decided "You don't know if you don't ask"....so I called and talked to the rudest CM I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. :sad2: Of course, NO codes for me because I already spend THOUSANDS of dollars at WDW EVERY year. He said the Z codes are only applicable if you have the pin code attached to your household. Of course I don't. I feel bitter now, can you tell. :guilty:

I am happy for you all that got the great deal, (really, I am :flower3: ) but really miffed at Disney right now. I just got back from a super expensive GF RPC stay and had buyer's remorse about how much that trip cost. I have another DW reservation for the summer ('cause I love that place:rolleyes: ) and I am considering cancelling it and going somewhere else. :snooty: If I do go with my 10% AAA discount, I will feel like I am getting ripped off because THEY KNOW I love the place and pay their enormous over priced inflated rates. I have for years!! (dah to me:sad2: )

OK get this. The dates of our trip are blacked out. So I asked the cm to change the dates to a date that I knew was part of the promo. (2 weeks earlier) then told him I hade the Z** code. The change would have saved me a whopping $20. :confused3 I don't get it. How can others be saving big bucks?

Thanks for the person who PM the code! I was able to get 40% off! I just gave the CM the code and they asked no other questions!1:banana: Cast member said it was a great deal.
