Anyone else with an extremely tall two year old out there? We are at WDW now, and I know some CMs simply don't believe me when I say my son is two. His birthday is on Friday--I would not teach my children to lie and bought my older son a ticket when we went one month after he turned three. Anyways, he has ridden Soarin', Splash Mountain, and Kali River Rapids but I'm nervous about the really fast rides like Big Thunder Mtn, Tower of Terror and or Test Track. Anyone ever take such a young child on those rides? He did enjoyed the ones he went on FWIW and he is a bit of a thrill seeker.

I wouldn't think twice about taking him on BTMRR or test track. TOT would only give me pause if he is normally creeped out by things. For the most part, kids tend to follow their parents lead; if you're nervous, he will be, too, but if you're happy and relaxed, he'll follow suit.

Lol, we're here right now and my 4 yr old is 39.5 inches and getting turned away from 40" rides. Anyway, I agree that anything but ToT should be fine. The latter is pretty spooky and would give my kids nightmares.

I PERSONALLY wouldn't take a 2 year old on Big Thunder Mtn. On that ride - the lap bar is shared between both guests in the car. So - the lap bar isn't going to come down on the little ones lap - it will stop based on the adult. I think the child might slide around on the seat a fair amount - and might make the ride a bit scarier than intended. Obviously - it's technically allowed.....

I've taken a 3 year old on Test Track - she LOVED it.

My daughter was 40" at 2 and absolutely loved Thunder Mountain. We did hold off on ToT though, I didn't want to scar her. =P

We also took our 2-year-old on BTMR and she loved it! The nice thing about the shared seat/lap bar is you can put your arm around your child and hold them steady. We did that on 7DMT and Splash too. The 7DMT seats are hard so I put my arm around my daughter so she wouldn't bump her head on the back of the seat.

Even though my daughter was 40 inches at 2yrs10mos we were not questioned. A couple times when we were scanning tickets a CM would just ask if she was 2 or 3 (in a factual way, not in a rude or incredulous way) and we answered and that was it.
