So I posted a question a week ago asking people's opinion on my strategy for getting as many rides as possible in all 4 parks in one day. I mostly had replies telling me that my plan was unrealistic.

On Friday 10/4 we did 30 rides in 12 hours. Probably could have done a few more rides, but by the end of the day, DH and I both had blisters on our feet. (Still ran the ToT on Sat night though.)

(Times of rides are when completed, not when we got in line. So they take into account walking - we are fast walkers, wait and ride time.)

It was a GREAT day at the parks. LOW crowds. We started at HS because of EMH, then to AK, MK had MNSSHP and closed at 7p, finished at EP with dinner at Le Cellier ADR at 8:40) We drove between parks except for MK and EP - took the monorail. We used every type of FP available - MBs and double dipping with annual passes and our KTTW cards (stayed on property). We did not have our 4 children with us. We did not carry bags in HS or AK so we could skip those lines.

It was fun, but don't think we could do it again. :)

:yay::yay:

I read your post from my Disney hotel room a few days ago and although I didn't reply at the time, I actually thought your plan was pretty doable. The crowds were very low this past week. We drove to every park (including MK) and found the driving time to be much faster than waiting for buses. We've done four parks in one day on past trips, but never tried to accomplish as much as you did. Congratulations!

Nicely done. Last January, we did 104 attractions in four days. That was a heckuva trip. I'm still tired.

In September we did 3 parks in one day 13 attractions, 2 restaurants. I thought that was awesome but you have us beat-- and we were exhausted by the end!! :O

how did you keep getting fastpasses for 2 rides at once?

Regarding fastpasses, as they said, they were triple-dipping- they had the three pre-reserved fastpass plus (at one of the parks), and then could use annual pass and kttw for overlapping/simultaneous "regular/old" fastpass at all four parks - so triple-dipping at one park, and double-dipping at other three. This ambitious plan required 3 things - going at very uncrowded time of year (which we also do), doing triple-dipping fastpass (which will presumably end soon when fastpass plus completely eliminates old fastpass), and a desire/ability/mindset to go pretty full commando rather than a more leisurely pace (we much prefer a more leisurely pace, but if this is your thing, then go for it, and congrats).

Fascinating. Thanks for sharing your day with us. It looks like a lot of fun. I'm glad you could enjoy a fabulous dinner at the end.

I've moved this thread to the Disney Trip Reports board. :)
