We (Dad, Mom and 10 year old son) are thinking of taking our first trip to Disneyland for spring break the first week of April 2013. I believe we need 5 days, but DH thinks 4 would be fine (Monday-Friday vs. Monday-Thursday). We would be flying in from Portland, OR, so would able to have half-days for the parks on travel days.
DS was raised on Pixar, so Carsland will be big for him. He loves rides, roller coasters, etc. I don't think he will be interested in spending much time on character experiences or parades, but I could be wrong. We plan to stay at Best Western Park Place Inn right across the street.
We aren't planning to do anything but Disney during our stay - Disney from sun-up to sun-down with a break back at the motel for an afternoon rest, if necessary.
Is it possible to get all the rides in in 4 days without being panicked about missing something? I'm sure 5 days would be great, but is it necessary to get the experience considering the extra expense?
Thanks!
