4 LLs with 2 riders

So, the two girls going with us love Guardians and Incredicoaster. DH and I not so much. If we make 4 LLs on our Genie+, can they ride with their two LLs and then take our two MagicBands and use our two LLs to ride again? of course they will have to exit and re-enter. It seems it would make sense but wanted to clarify

In my experience this is completely up to the CM when they would (potentially) scan in. Some are checking names and what not, some are just waiting for the green light. Some would see the girls are clearly not the people associated with that ticket and just not care.

We had no problems with this last year. The older kids used the LL for rides our 7 year old couldn’t go on.

Yes. We did this last summer for our kids. Wife and me just took things easy and let the kids use our Lightning Lanes selections to ride things over and over. They just had to remember to not book us the first time and only book each other. Then they could use us the next time. Since you control the tapping in for a ride, a cast member doesn't really check if you're you or not.

Right. So on our account in the Disneyland app, we were all 4 linked together. I let the kids log into our account on the phone they had. When they went to Genie+ to book Space Mountain, they would only select the two of them to get the Genie+ and not all 4 of us. Then when they wanted to ride it again later, they would then book my wife and I only, since they were no longer able to book themselves. Then they just brought up the LLs for my wife and me and used those at the tap in for the turnstile.

The only time name is being checked is with DAS. And even then it's only the DAS holder that is checked.

I meant the name that is clearly visbile on your phone if using that and not a Mband - I got an eyebrow when scanning on my phone and the name was clearly not mine. Lol Even then they didn’t care. You paid for the service, afterall!

There's no rule against using another person's LL so that CM was just being nosy . Thankfully they couldn't stop anyone even if they did care.

And yeah. It's a paid for service. Exactly. Doesn't matter who uses it.

It also does highlight why tickets/passes should only be shared with people you trust, though. There's a post in a FB group right now asking how to remove their pass from another person's account. That other person can see when they have reservations, make reservations for them, and cancel said reservations for them. They would also have access to any LLs the person made.

The eyebrow you got might have just been wondering if you had permission to use the other person's LL rather than just using someone else's being wrong in their mind if that makes sense.

Makes total sense. They weren’t rude or anything, it was more a quizzical look. It was right after G+ came out so who knows!

We did this to loop Space Mtn right in a row and on a couple other rides last visit and it was never a problem. The CMs are supposed to watch for the green light, but honestly it looked like half of the time (or more) you could have just walked through without even the green light on. The CMs very often are engrossed with helping out another guest or chatting with each other and barely paying attention. Never saw one take a close look at the names as they just don't usually have time for that. So don't stress at all about it and use them up!
