My son and I were there from Monday 11/24 to Thursday 11/27.
We got our first Dream Fastpass on our second day at 930am next to the phone booth as you enter Frontier land from Fantasyland, right next to CM area. That same day we talked to someone who was wearing one from the previous day and stated she was able to still use it. She said she also go it near the area I had around the same time. So that got me thinking, maybe there is a pattern there.
On our third day my son I walked around looking for them around the same time. Not seeing anyone we went on a few rides in Fantasy land. We then got looking and noticed two CMs with white jackets on with black bags around there shoulders. It looked like a laptop bag. They then disappeared into the castle where sleeping beauty is. We noticed two other people that looked like they were also looking for fastpasses. We talked to them and they said they got theirs the previous day near the castle. We got their cell number and made a plan to let each other know if we find the Dream Fastpasses. Around 930am we got a call from them and they found them. They were hiding out close to Smallworld. They were at the walk way next to Story Land Canal boats. We went on our way and we got another phone call from them stating they got another won at 10am. This time they were next to the restrooms near the Zocala restuarant (building seperating Frontier Land and the Castle area, also next to CM area). So we got 2 this day. So on Thanksgiving and our fourth day we set out to get another one. This time they were right behind Dumbo at 930am.
Using the regular Fastpasses with the Dream Fastpasses, we never waited more the 10 minutes for rides, except for Space Mountain which seemed to always take atleast 15 minutes for the Fastpass lane. I always used the regular fast passes first, so we never ended up using all of our Dream Fastpasses. The CMs didnt care if the Dream Fastpasses had expired. They never even looked close enough. We probably went on every FP ride 4-5 times a day. This also included the Haunted Mansion.
Everytime we got a Dream Fastpass I would try to find a few people that had kids old enough to use them. Everytime there was atleast one group that could care less about getting them. I explained what they were but they didnt want to bother.
Getting the Dream Fastpasses became a game for my son and I.
He is six. It was so fun. We ended up wasting prime time from 9am-10am, but end was worth it in the end.
Day 1 - 12 hours at the park.
Day 2 - 17 hours at the park.
Day 3 - 16 hours at the park.
Day 5 - 14.75 hours at the park. We called it quits after we both slept through Pirates at 11pm.
