Yes, there was lots of rain. But, there's no point being miserable about it, besides, who could be miserable on a Disney trip?!
Raglan Road:
The fish and chips were fantastic. Light, crunchy, hot, yummy goodness. Dare I say, better than Epcot's version, but just barely.
The Super Mario Mushroom dessert from Raglan Road was AM-azing. The Pavlova is (to quote the Joy of Baking) "a meringue cake that has a light and delicate crisp crust and a soft sweet marshmallow center". It was as mega-delish as it sounds. I'd go back just for that!
Ok, and the bread pudding. If we had been anywhere but the most magical place on earth I may have stabbed our dd with a fork and punched DH in the nose and taken the bowl, but that's not acceptable behaviour in WDW. So I restrained myself, and settled for a taste.
Off to Flying Fish:
I didn't say it was cooked to my liking. I said it was the best {non magical words deleted} steak I've ever had. Since The BigMan thinks HE makes the best steak anywhere, he edited my words for his own purposes. The veggies were very good (which says a lot for veggies) but I could have used a bucket of that aioli stuff instead of that little dish! Had it not been signature dining, I may have licked the bowl. But it was, so I didn't. But I wanted to. Believe me. It was THAT good.
The pound cake fries things were not fried. They were twice-baked, like biscotti, but better. DD was gracious enough to look at a hot waiter I pointed out so I could steal a bite. You'd think after all I've done for her, getting a bite of a pound cake "fry" wouldn't be asking too much, but apparently it is

I'm thinking that recipe would be fairly easy to duplicate but those fries should be a dessert on the menu on their own. YUM
Tutto Italia:
Italian food and eye candy... I mean well-trained servers. What more could a girl want? I agree, DH's Casarecchi looked like maggots on the plate, BUT eyes closed it was delish-ous. And the cheesecake, ladies... I needed a moment alone with the cheesecake. I can not type what I'm thinking about the melt-in-your-mouth yummy goodness. Sooooo.... ya. Just order the cheesecake. You'll understand.
Kona Cafe:
The Samoan was an interesting twist on Eggs Benny. Definitely yummy. The coffee was some of the best java I've ever had. I would like to go there again and I'd order the same way. But Ohana is tradition now.
Liberty Tree Tavern:
3 words Stove Top Stuffing.
In all honesty, there is nothing nice to say about LTT. So I'm saying nothing more on that.
Oh, and for all of you who enjoyed the photos, you're welcome. The Big Man took all the photos, but he was so eager to dig in and enjoy that I had to remind him EVERY time!
Even with the rain it was a great trip. The Big Man books all our ADRs and he's always right on those. (except for LTT) He spoils me and puts up with me. I am the luckiest woman alive.
Good report babes. Except for the steak remark, it was pretty accurate xo
