I need help deciding. :confused3
I had my trip planned for 4 day PH with MM on Sat June 9th, but just found out I can get $99 3 day military passes with no MM.
Is it worth the extra $140 for the 1/2 day (we have to leave by 2 for the airport) and MM?
Just can't seem to justify the cost difference although I'm bummed about missing MM...any thoughts?
Thanks!

After spending three busy(!) days at the parks, would your crew be willing to get up early enough to do a MM? The kids might, but by then the parents often have the "Disney Drags."

On the one (and only) morning that DH and I managed to get to the parks for MM, we were disappointed that they didn't have many "grown up" rides open and running. MM is geared more toward the rides in Fantasyland, which is fine for young families, but we'd rather just sleep late, especially when we've been at the parks late the night before.

The military deal is SO good, I'd really take advantage of it. $140 extra per person is not worth it in my opinion.

I had planned to do MM on Saturday and knock out most FL rides during that hour and then hit TT on Sunday at 9am when it opens. If we do 3 day passes we will be in the parks Friday after about noon, Sat and Sun. With both Sat and Sun being MM days, how would you vets and AP holders recommend tackling Fantasyland and Toontown? I have a 4 year old and two 7 year olds.
And what's the best suggestion for starting a day(Friday) at noon. We'll be napping/swimming the other days, but probably not the first day.

Thanks!!!

DL in 10 days!!!! :yay:

Is it an extra $140 total, or x 4 (as in $560)? Just $140, it might be worth it. Definitely not worth $560. But then again, we are usually able to go once a year. Is this a trip of a lifetime type thing? Also....we have used both the $99 3-day park hoppers, and regular 4-day park hoppers sold at a military base at a discounted rate. Neither one had magic morning. Not sure where you were planning on getting the 4-day passes....
Good luck deciding, and have a great trip!!!

I have the 3 day military tickets for my trip in July. I wasn't aware these didn't have Magic Morning access. Does it state that somewhere on the tickets? I was thinking we could just change the tickets in to park hoppers when we got there. If we don't have MM then we'll just sleep in but I liked that option a few years ago with regular tickets.

Stay at a park hotel and you will get the MM any day it is offered.

A few years ago we used regularly-discounted park hopper tickets from a military base. We actually assumed they included a magic morning, but were turned away at the gates (and had to spend an hour in Downtown Disney...not a big deal, but I wish I had realized ahead of time). This was 2 and 1/2 years ago, but at that time a park hopper that included MM was called a bonus ticket (or something like that). The one from the AFB was not a bonus ticket. The past two trips we used the $99 park hoppers, and those did not include MM either. The tickets sold on DL's website seem to say "with Magic Morning". So unless the ticket specifically says that on it, I would assume it didn't include it. Maybe someone else has better info.....
Good luck!

Thanks for that information! We will just sleep in instead. We are staying at the RI Main Gate so we won't have a MM option. Oh well.

Thanks for the responses. I think I will go with the 3 day passes. With the $560 we'll save, I'll start planning another trip to see anything we miss...and everything else again!!
Friday we will start with CA and maybe see WOC if we can stay up that late.
We're going to try to hit Fantasyland on Sat at 8am...knowing it's a MM morning would you use the same touring plan. ie PP first, Dumbo, Alice etc. Then we'll go to tomorrowland. If the kids are up for it we'll see F! that night.
Sunday, we have breakfast with Minnie at 7:30 and will maybe grab some FP then hit TT at 9 when it opens. After TT hopefully we can hopefully hit the rest of DL and catch Fireworks that evening.
How does this sound...any suggestions?
:thanks:

ps..thanks Jack, maybe next time, but I have reservations for HOJO Retro already!

I suggest you treat a non MM day as *your* MM day, get there 30 minutes prior to park opening and head straight to Fantasy Land. Peter Pan is usually our 1st ride each day *unless it's a MM day that we don't have access to.

Unfortunately we'll only have 2 mornings since we're doing a 3 day pass and both are MM (Sat and Sun).
Lack of planning on my part...saw great airline prices and grabbed them, not thinking about the fact that Sat and Sun are not the best days for DL, but we'll have a great time anyway! and we'll just have to go back soon!!
