4 Crazy Limeys do laundry....

I am thinking to send Rick off somewhere with Meag, while I get Catie off to school, then they can come home and I can finish packing or whatever, get us all ready to go, then we go pick Catie up.

I think that is a cute and practical idea:)

Now, Brandi, that's the difference. I like some wine, but I also like mixed drinks where I mostly DON'T taste the alcohol, like daquiri, mai tai, mojito, etc. I just want to FEEL the effect, without tasting it too much.

Its funny I can't drink any alcohol straight other than baileys. I love tequila but only with a margarita mix. I like to be able to taste the tequila. Another weird thing about me :teeth:

T, I think that's why I don't like margaritas, cause I don't like the taste of tequila, and I can't seem to get a margarita that I don't taste it. Its why I like rum and vodka drinks (NEVER straight, though I did once with Malibu rum), cause you can't generally taste the alcohol with them.

OK I generally do not like mixed drinks that are to sweet, but sometimes I run across one or two that I like.

but for the most part, I like drinks straight it cuts down on the calories!

When we go to the Caribbean i generally get this drink called a "Bushwacker" and it tastes like a chocolate Milkshake and it has no chocolate of milk in it. It is so cold and wonderful on a hot day!

I have only eaten at Jiko, so any information anyone has on these restaurants is greatly appreciated!
I have been to Coral Reef, but that is it out of those. We LOVED it, but it seems to get mixed reviews. We DID wait quite a while for our table there, but we had personalized menus and they gave us a booth right up by the tank, so it was worth it.

Some of your others are on my "want to try" list, so I can't wait to hear what you all thought.

I will do my best to make sure Rick behaves and not scare away all the waitstaff before you get there :teeth:
:lmao::lmao:
I must tell you a little background on my MIL, who I found out is going to be joining us with her husband for the May trip!

When she diets she counts the calories in her chocolate and that is all that she will eat. She eats dessert first and then if she is still hungry will have something else.

So to me this sounds like a perfect deal for her! I am sure the kids would love it too. Does anyone have a price point for this? and what days of the week they offer it?
Your MIL sounds like a very smart woman!:thumbsup2
I got all of my ADR's updated with the correct amount of people EXCEPT for Le Cellier..... They can fit in 5 but not 6.... So I made it for 5, and I am going to show up with 6... Do you think they will be able to seat us?
I would think that they would give you a 6 top for a party of 5, so I don't see why it would be an issue. :confused3

I had read on the dining board before our last trip that a lot of people have a hard time getting a party of 4 in to certain places, so they booked for 3. Not sure how they made out once they got there, but again, you'd think it's the same table size.
I can't believe it, but I'm so thrilled that we are doing it. She is going to completely be shocked! And as of today she will now still be in school for 5/25, so I am checking on a late afternoon flight, and thinking about sending her to school, then pulling her out at half day or something maybe... I am mean, ya know... I have been debating back and forth, it will of course depend on flights, but we have been looking at Allegiant Air, which flies out of Des Moines and is SO much cheaper, they have a direct flight that leave @ 4:45, gets in at 8:30ish. Its about 1-1/2 hours to Des Moines for us, so we would need to leave home by 1:30 or so to get there, but SMALL airport, so wouldn't need to be there any earlier than 3:30 or so. The only catch is it flies into Sanford, which might be a bit of a pain, cause it would potentially eliminate DME, but it is like half the price of SWA, so if I have to hire a taxi or something, it would still be cheaper, I expect.
You might want to double check the Sanford thing. Allegiant flies out of Allentown, which isn't far from me. When I was looking for our Nov. flights, fares aren't out yet but there was an alert that all the flights are going into MCO in Orlando after a certain date, so you may be in luck! I can't imagine some flights would go to one and some the other. We had never tried them before cause we like to take advantage of ME, but now they are an option.

That sounds good! Reminds me of the drink that got me in trouble on my 21st birthday, way back when. We had planned on going into Philly to some clubs, but it was snowing, so we would up going to TGI Fridays, cause it was close to camous. I had these Friday's Frozen Fantasy or something like that...tasted like a cookies & cream milkshake, but apparently had a LOT of :laundy: in it. I don't remember the end of that night...the only time I have ever been that drunk.:eek:

Finding Nemo seating is just like a fantasmic dinner package. If you eat between certain times at Tusker house you will get priority seating for a nemo show during a certain time. I think its pretty cool!

Afternoon everyone!!!!!

Well I am out of here in the morning for a cruise to the Bahama's... I will be back in 12 days so try and not miss me too much!

T, please keep everyone entertained while I am gone.

:dancer:party::rockband::woohoo:

The bushwacker is equal parts, Kahula, Bailey's, Frangelica, Amaretto, Vodka, Rum and Coco Lopez Creme de Coconut. Blend away and grate fresh nutmeg on top. They joke that new comers are only allowed two, DH and I shared 3 and we thought everything was very funny after that!

Cool! Is there an extra charge for it, or just book the ADR as a package?
See you there!!!! :lmao:
Hi Neighbor!
I'm in Schwenksville! :wave:

Have fun, Brandi!!! I'd call you names, since it is supposed to snow AGAIN, but it's not worth the ponts:lmao:

I think it would take about half of one to get me silly!
They sure tasted good. Did I mention that you blend them with ice till slushie like?

oh yum! Even better!
