4 Crazy Limeys do laundry....

Okay, the wishes dessert party...
We went in December, and we really enjoyed. They have reserved tables in Tomorrowland Terrace so you have great views of the fireworks, and then they set up a dessert buffet. When we were there they had chocolate covered strawberries, creme brulee, brownies, some apricot smoothie thing, cannoli, cookies, a peanut butter & chocolate mousse cup...I can't think of what else off the top of my head. Then they had cocoa and coffee for drinks (this was good, as it was VERY cold). You check in and eat the desserts, etc before the fireworks start, can keep going back until right about the time the fireworks get going.

Kouzzina's and Jiko are the only ones of yours I have been to, Brandi. We really loved Kouzzina's for breakfast, we had for both, and I LIKED it for supper, but adored it for breakfast. Rick, Catie and I all had the waffle which is topped with whipped honey mascarpone, mine was with turkey sausage, Rick and Catie had bacon. Rick had presspot coffee, they do have REAL coffee... Catie had a latte I think. I had sangria, and it is exceptionally GOOD sangria, so T is going to try it and see what she thinks, Rick could be right about the YET... Meagan had french toast, which she really liked as well. Catie actually thought there was too much mascarpone, so she thinks she is having something else "the next time we ever go" since she doesn't know about this trip...

I must tell you a little background on my MIL, who I found out is going to be joining us with her husband for the May trip!

When she diets she counts the calories in her chocolate and that is all that she will eat. She eats dessert first and then if she is still hungry will have something else.

So to me this sounds like a perfect deal for her! I am sure the kids would love it too. Does anyone have a price point for this? and what days of the week they offer it?

The food sounds great... Hopefully we will have a great time, I am sure I will have plenty of pictures when I get back!

I'm thinking it was $27.95 per person when we went in December, not sure what the pricing is for May.

T, do you remember what it was for your tickets? I saw $35.99 for adult on the ADR page, is that correct?

Oh my goodness reading this thread brings tears to my eyes so i only sorta "glance" at it.
I seem to be in a major funk this year and i dunno why. Reading about
the plans does perk me up a bit then i remember our next trip might never happen -- gotta have cash to go doncha know!

Someone mentioned Narccosseesseess (dang it i know how to spell it lol)
We went last year and LOVED it -- to the point where John says it is is his favourite restaurant EVER -- not just in WDW BUT anywhere. The view was amazing (we asked for a window table and were lucky) the service was wonderful and the food was to die for. We both had surf n turf and it was amazing. I don't remember anything else. They gave us free champagne with berries for our anniversary and some special dessert (on top of what we had already eaten since we were on the DDP) I i had my scrap booking stuff at hand i could pull out the receipt and tell you what we ate but that would require moving!

Keep making good plans -- makes for a good trip

I seriously hate the taste of wine. Its yucky..
It will be the tequila! that gets her.
:rolleyes1
OMG you guys are gonna have a great time!!! :)
 How have you been?

Hey T - we've been good - lot's of hockey going on and too much snow but hey we are getting closer to spring every day!! Kids are both doing great - Kyle is now 5'6", voice is getting deeper and I thought I saw a shadow of a mustache last night at dinner:scared1::scared1::scared1:

That is not bad at all, I think I will let my MIL decide if she wants to go....

Thanks for all the info everyone!

Brandi, I tend to agree with your MIL, I like to eat dessert first, and have been known to skip meals so I have the "calories available" for dessert, LOL. And I loved it. Can't believe what a great price it is right now, that's awesome!

Jacqueline, so glad to "see" you here! I've missed talking to you! I'm so glad to hear your great review of Narcosee's, that was me going there. Catie LOVES lobster, well, all seafood usually, so she will really be thrilled with this, and we will be there at 8:40 ADR, so should be in good shape to watch the fireworks at MK from there. That will be our last dinner in WDW, too, so we might as well go out with a bang, right?

Hi, Michelle! Wow, Kyle's really getting big! I can't imagine it, since Meag is still SO petite, even though she'll be 13 in just over a month.

I got all of my ADR's updated with the correct amount of people EXCEPT for Le Cellier..... They can fit in 5 but not 6.... So I made it for 5, and I am going to show up with 6... Do you think they will be able to seat us?

Anthony has a mustache starting and his voice is changing.. Weird isn't it?

Isn't ours around the same time? You can come sit with us. I have 2 little ones we can squish together. We will have room:teeth:

T, that's too funny about Ant, too.

So Catie still hasn't figured it out, Rick was asking her the other day about if we go back next year, where would she want to stay, eat, etc. Its so funny, cause pretty much everything she said (except for CRT) is already in the game plan.

And T, your ADR's sounded so good, I added a couple extra:
5/28 11am Scifi
5/31 8:20am CP

I think it is hilarious that I started at 5/27-5/31 and now am at 5/25-6/1!

So much for cutting back Kristi :rotfl:

Its also funny that she still has no clue.. I hope you can keep it that way nothing like a suprise! :goodvibes

I mean how hard is it to pull another chair up right?

I think that is cute.... she will be thrilled when she finds out!

Got to keep up,,,, I am lacking in the ADR dept.

It only made sense to change, I mean it was better deals all the way around! I think it is great!

I can't believe it, but I'm so thrilled that we are doing it. She is going to completely be shocked! And as of today she will now still be in school for 5/25, so I am checking on a late afternoon flight, and thinking about sending her to school, then pulling her out at half day or something maybe... I am mean, ya know... I have been debating back and forth, it will of course depend on flights, but we have been looking at Allegiant Air, which flies out of Des Moines and is SO much cheaper, they have a direct flight that leave @ 4:45, gets in at 8:30ish. Its about 1-1/2 hours to Des Moines for us, so we would need to leave home by 1:30 or so to get there, but SMALL airport, so wouldn't need to be there any earlier than 3:30 or so. The only catch is it flies into Sanford, which might be a bit of a pain, cause it would potentially eliminate DME, but it is like half the price of SWA, so if I have to hire a taxi or something, it would still be cheaper, I expect.

Kristi thats what I'm doing to my kids.. Makes the suprise even better!

I am thinking to send Rick off somewhere with Meag, while I get Catie off to school, then they can come home and I can finish packing or whatever, get us all ready to go, then we go pick Catie up.
