4/3 ticket upgrade to AP concerns or worries

Is anyone worried about upgrading their tix to AP's. I have upgraded tix last yr without any problems after I visted several guest services location during the "buy base ticket get hopper and WP&M free" promotion but several CM that I have talked to said that you could not do this with this new promotion like you have been able to in the past.
I don't want to purchase the NE tickets and only get the value of a base ticket.
Anyone eles have concerns?

You could do it in January on the 4/3 promotion, so I don't see why you couldn't do it now.

We just upgrade our 4/3 tickets to AP's on Friday with no problem. We got full credit for 7 day PH's...for what it's worth, I did it at City Hall in MK. The CM who helped us was quick, helpful and very professional. He even took a minute to explain that since they were "discounted tickets" he was going to have to do an intermediate step to ensure the we received full value for our passes. We left with 4 AP's in hand -- I did a big ol' happy dance right outside City Hall!!

I'm glad to hear that it all went smoothly for you. When we upgraded our's last April I think there were several guest service who didn't know what/how to do. I will try city hall in the MK.
P.S Did you have the NE tickets or just hopper passes?

Put your worries aside...we just returned last week and upgraded to ap's from the 4/3 promo with no problem at all! We also received the dvc discount...have a wonderful trip!

Don't worry! We upgraded our 4/3 (7-day) non-expiring Park Hoppers on March 14 at Guest Relations in Magic Kingdom. We got the full 7 day credit, and since we're DVC members and get a discount, we also got $40 back!

I'm so happy I read about upgrading here on DisBoards!

If I book the 4/3 deal online it gives me the choice to get one day passes for everyone.(instead of multiple days) Since DH and I have AP's we want to purchase 2 more for our kids, one would be an adult AP, the other a child AP. We are also DVC members. Can I take the 3 adult 1 day passes and use those towards 1 AP pass? Then use the 1 child 1 day ticket to get my DS his AP and still use the DVC discount?

No, it's a one-to-one upgrade: one adult 1 day ticket for one AP. You cannot combine the three one-day tickets. You can get the DVC price on that one. And you can upgrade the one child 1 day to a DVC child AP.
