4/3 Deal extended for dates through 8/15

Whats the value of the tickets for a family of four (adult price)? Trying to figure out if its worth it for us, as we get our tickets through undercover tourist at $226.00 each.
The tickets aren't where the savings is at all. The difference between a 4 and 7 day ticket is nominal. UCT is still cheaper, but if you are looking at the whole package, the room savings comes out around 40% or so depending on the resort.

I had a 7 night stay at Akl (AAA rate)booked until last week, but dropped it for a 5 night because we booked 2 nights at Universal's Royal Pacific. AKL with this deal would be totally worth it, but if I keep it just at a 4 night with the 5th night free, I'm only saving about $45.00.

Huh. I just quoted a 8 night package with the deal starting 6/27 and ending 7/5. Looks to me like you just have to check in by the last day.

Didn't work for me either. We are trying to check in on the 27-5th. We were going to stay offsite(bonnet ) for the first time. But now may reconsider if they don't blackout the 4th of july.
Just a reminder-when this original deal came out on THAT DAY I booked Easter week. Which they later took out of the deal(but they were willing to honor my reservation- unfortunately time wise we couldn't make that work) But NOW this MIGHT work! (Depends on a lot of things. But it can't hurt to try!)

DISNEYMOMX7 Where are you staying that week. Could this be the year we finally get to meet!? If I book I'll let you know!:cheer2: SO EXCITING!!

We are currently booked on a 40% discount package from 8/7 until 8/21 (14 nights). We have tickets left over from previous trips....are we better off with our 40% still??....

Also do you have to check out by the 15th or does it mean that you have to check in by that date?

How does the ticket pricing work? I am going for 9 nights so I pay 6 nights hotel. We are only doing 7 days in the Disney parks. Will they let me purchase a 7 day pass at the price of a 4 day with a 9/6 package?

Absolutely... However note that the price difference is like a dollar or so...

Keep in mind that while the tickets may be cheaper thru UCT you can't get the 4/3 deal on the room if you don't buy the tickets. The deal works best if you are going to a deluxe resort and the better the resort and the better the room at the deluxe the more you save.

Example: Original Reservation:
6 nights thru AAA
POR 3 disney Adults 2 Children
DDP
$2900
5 day base tickets

4/3 deal
$2715
still 6 nights, etc.
7 day base tickets
Savings just under $185

I upgraded to:
YC Std View
$3650
again 6 nights, etc
7 day tickets
YC 6 Nights AAA
$4,450
5 day base tickets

Savings = $800.

For 7 nights the 4/3 at YC was $3810 cost went up for DDP. But I would have saved about $1,200.

If I was staying water view the savings would have been $1,000 for 6 nights. The savings on concierge was just under $2,000.

I also looked at Poly the savings there for 6 nights was about $900.

Does anyone know what the booking cut off date is for this?? from 2/9 through.... ????

Thanks for posting this. It gives encouragement :goodvibes to those of us traveling later in the year. I was getting ready to buy tickets from UCT to go with my AAA "room only" reservation. Guess I'd better wait to see if this 4/3 deal will get extended into October!

Right now we are currently booked June 20-27 at the GF (7/4 deal) and June 27-July 5 at BC. I couldn't get the 7/4 offer for June 27-July 5 when I booked, they said it ended on the 27th. I'm going to call back later today and see if that's changed - or try again on Monday at 7 AM!!!! I'm flexible the second week with either YC or BC.

Could this be the time - I SURE HOPE SO!!!!!!!!

Okay I just called Disney and they repeated what I was originally told. The last day of travel is 6/27 an they cannot bookt he 7/4 offer beyond that, even though our travel date starts on the 27th.

Oh well I'll just be calling bright and early on Monday to rebook it under the extended 7/4 offer!

We are staying at the Beach Club June 27 - July 5 too!

It might be one big happy DIS family!

Tickets are free on base days and no expiration option. Water parks and hopping options are a flat fee no matter how many days, so nothing free there. If you are only getting base days, keep in mind it is only ~$3 per day after 4 days. No expiration can save you a bundle though, especially if you are upgrading to an AP/PAP.

Can someone explain that to me? Does this mean that the 4/3 deal comes with no expiry tickets or that you can add no expiry to them or what exactly?

tou have to pay extra for no expiry
extra for water parks and hopper as well

I was initially told this as well when I asked about moving my dates to 6/26-7/3. But I pointed out that I was able to find availability online using the 4/3 deal. The CM checked it out and verified that I was right, so she changed it all for me. ::yes::

I'm not sure why it works for a 6/26 arrival but not a 6/27. :confused3 I guess that it's a moot point since the offer is being extended to cover your dates now. Good luck!

does already having a package for the dates and resort/room type you want make it any easier to get the 4/3 deal? I currently have a package at Pop, but want to switch to CR. Should I do that now to help 'guarantee' it, or just wait til Mon morning? (how will I wait that loooong??? :faint:) :rotfl2:

Momof2 I feel your pain! But at least we can dream for the whole weekend!:cloud9:
