My family and I just returned from our first ever trip to WDW. After months of planning and staying up till wee hours reading all the posts I could in each forum we finally made our trek to WDW. We drove. We consisted of me 28, husband 36, ds 9, and dneice 9. The drive was good, perfect weather. We left on Fri. morning arrived in Gainesville around 8:30pm, got a room for the night then headed out to WDW Sat. morning. We arrived at OKW around noon. Check in was quick and easy. We asked at check in for a room close to HH and got it. The CM's were very pleasant and helpful. Clued us in on all kinds of things about the resort. We stayed in building 12. We stayed in a 1bedroom villa. It was wonderful. The amount of room in the villa was awesome. And just down right beautiful. The view from our balcony was gorgeous. We were in heaven! I journaled each day so that I could give an accurate account of what was going on.

We just got back from MK. OMG you should see the Castle. It is so beautiful. I could leave and go home now and feel like I've had a whole vacation. LOL. I couldn't stop looking at it. It is massive in its size and its beauty is like no other. I've watched this on TV commercials for years and years and here it is in real life. This is every little girls dream come true. My hubby stood and laughed at me, not understanding the significance the castle has. I guess men just don't get the whole pretending to be a princess, and castle thingy. Oh did I mention that it changes colors too! It's just awesome! Oh and the shops lit up all over the place as your walking in is just beautiful. I think I could move here. We rode Splash Mnt. the whole family loved that one, and Thunder Mnt Railroad. I was surprised by Splash Mnt. though, I guess I expected it to be more some how. Like a longer ride or something. Not that it wasn't fun, I just expected it to be bigger, better and way more than the traditional log ride since this is Disney World. Guess I had the wrong impression going on in my head.LOL The lines aren’t to terribly bad, the most we waited in line was 19min.

Looking forward to reading the rest of your report. We are going this same time next year.

Glad you had a great time. Seeing the castle for the first time (or 101st time) is always magical. I stayed at OKW in August 2004 in a 2 bedroom villas it was absolutely gorgeous, great pick for your resort. Post soon, it sounds like you've been bitten by the mickey bug...
