Great Job losers!!!!!!!!! That is awesome! I think I may have tipped the scales in the right direction too, but I am not going to weigh in at the gym for a while because yes, once again, another week goes by and no gym for me.

Welcome, SteveMed! WOW~! Quite a group y'all have going!

CG - ummmm, why not? No Gym? Could it be because of the turkey killing this week??????

Speaking of turkeys, gotta go start defrosting mine.....oh, starts the pleasures of Thanksgiving. Funny how we fatten them up for this one day and then they fatten us in one day!

Stevemed,

Welcome! What are the ages of the kids in your group? Any teens or preteens? Mine will be 11, 12 & 14 on the cruise. Nobody else has any that age yet.

:earsgirl: :earsboy: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Welcome SteveMed. :wave2: Glad to see that this group is growing. Wow...another 20 to add to the list. I have a group of 14. Children's ages are 4, 7, 10 and 16. The 16 year old is a boy and he's sooooo worried that there won't be any kids on the ship that are his age.

To all the Biggest Losers......I'm still walking twice a week and going to Curves three times a week. Hopefully, the scale will tip in my favor a week or so after Thanksgiving. I definitely will not be weighting myself this week.

Has anyone else heard about the Carnivale that might be going on in St. Martin at the time we are there? If so, is it worth getting excited about.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hoping you have a great holiday weekend.

PartyPat princess:

Welcome Stevemed.

Down 1 pound this week. Work has been very stressful (lousy new supervisor) so I guess I can be glad that I lost 1 and didn't gain any.

Hey, MKetting...what about me? I'm 0/0 since I joined this forum, but I did lose 4 lbs before I started posting. So....does that count?

Also, forgot to tell you guys that my sister is making Cosmo's and Lime Drops for cocktails before Thanksgiving Dinner. I guess the practice begins. :drinking1

Hi Stevemed , welcome aboard :boat:  . This is a great group of people . I hope after my first night of drinking they don't abandon us HEHE , it should be fine as long as it isn't free whiskey sours captains party . Long story !!!

Oh
Just wanted to let you guys know if you love Gymboree like I do and I am addicted , they are having a sale Friday morning , I believe it is 30% in the morning and 25% later in the day , plus you earn your Gymbucks now on top of that . I work there pt about 10 hrs a week , I use to be the manager but it was way too much with the girls and DH out of town often . I bought $405.00 of the new line and thats after my 40% discount , I'm that hooked !
Barry is use to it now thou , at least I don't make him pat the bill , nor will I show him the bill

Thank you for the big welcome.BlBCB here it goes, I will try to get all the ages of the kids(because I am a guy it is hard to remember the ages of my own kids let alone the other children in the group)

My kids are dd9 and dd5(hope I got that one right)lol
Two more girls ages 6 and 9
boy 8 and girl 5
two boys 9ish and 12ish(or something like that)
and a girl around 8th or 9th grade.

Boy all that and I'm not even drinking yet. :cool1:

Well, I am just glad there is another New Englander here. I think there may be another Rhodie here too if my memor serves me correctly, ahem, please identify yourself....ahem. Well, hopefully that pulls them outta the woodwork.

Your 5 yo will have tons of friends. My son will be 4 and there are about 10 more 4-5 yos too. We need another roll call Julie - I am totally slipping with who has what age children.

Suzie, the reason for no gym this week is actually embarrassing - I forgot my purse on Monday so I didn't dare go to the gym because I would be starving and I was embarrassed to borrow money from my friends at work then I am so obsessed with the new Harry Potter movie that yesterday I took my munch hour to go to the IMAX next door to where I work and see an hour and a half of the movie again (we saw it Saturday night). Today I need to go to the grocery store. I actually should not gain any weight beyond my normal girth from Turkey Day as I am the scrooge of Turkey Day. I hate Turkey, don't like stuffing, don't like Pumpkin Pie, and pretty much loathe real mashed potatoes (I LOVE fake and Country Crock mashed potatoes). Bah Humbug!

Steve,

Wow another Dude, sweet!!!! Welcome aboard fellow Pirate pirate:, besides BowTie (whose is not even going) and myself, the male gender has not been well represented.

Speaking or should I say writing about BowTie, with friends posting pictures like that, what can I say I have the best friends a guy could have, BowTie you rock  . I am a firm believer that you should take responsibility for your actions, and yes that was me in the first picture seeing what it would be like to be HeadGear Pat, and the second picture what can you say it is funny. Actually I have a bad habit when I drink Tequila, of wanting to wear different types of hats and the Bra happens to be my favorite. I am a pretty good salesman (BTW every salesperson says that) and that night I happened to talk every female at the table except one into taking theirs off and letting me wear it on my head. The one you ask, well it was someones Mom (LLL) who is going on the cruise with us, who just happened to not be wearing a Bra that night.

Alright I had better go before I get into trouble, hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for that sometimes we forget, how good we actually have it.

So since that time we have added:

We are taking the gilrs on their first cruise in November on the Legend of the Seas , we will see how they do , we have jsut have to leave them home for Disney LOL .
We opted for a 4 night stay at the AKL so my girls can go to Disney while we are down there .
Hope to met some fun cruismates
The bourgeois family. added later: we are from NY [Syracuse area], I am 36 well , I'll be 37 :O( , DH is going to be 39 . I think mentioned my DD are going to be 4 1/2 ,I think on my last post

Oh, yeah!!!!! 5 more months and did I mention how I think these verandahs are super small in comparison to Princess, but alas, they are a verandah, and I will be on it sipping Pina Coladas not thinking about work.

CG, sorry about the purse thing. I know, I hate to borrow money too! Maybe you should come to our house for Thanksgiving! You could show us how not to eat on that day! OM~we have so much food planned for the day and we are getting together for ALL day! Parades, food, football, food, movie, food, big meal, walk, food.....that's kinda what our day looks like! But it will be a tough job and we've signed up to do it...(insert head hang) You know what they say, someone's gotta do it!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Castlegazer, I'm not a nitpicker, but would like to set a few things straight.

MKetting should get the glory for starting the Biggest Loser. If was her comment that got me to join in on the forum. And I'm loving looking at the posts every day to see whats up with all of you.

I am from SONOMA COUNTY. In this part of the woods Napa is a four letter word. I'm 70 miles north of San Francisco.

And last but not least, there are only 14 of us going in my group.

I cleaned my garage last night so that we can play kick the can shuffle board tonight. I have an annual party the night before Thanksgiving and we always have fun and games. Should have a housefull.

PartyPat

Well , we are finishing up the packing mow but I wamted to share this with you .
I visit another board for RCCL and I asked a question about taking the girls on a Celebrity cruise leaving from Ny , you can't imagine the responses I got . Most hoed and hummed about kids on that cruise line and it is really more for adults and older couples . noone really told me anything helpful . I told my husband this and he stated I should start a new thread and say

" How many cabins should we booked if we are taking 12 inner city kids from the Fresh Air Group " :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm going to do it HEHE , can't wait to see the repsonses on that one LOL

ohsodisney- count me in, I can bring at least 10 kids and we can give them candy all cruise long. :rotfl2:

As I posted on my home thread:

Thank you to my virtual friends here, for talking and making me laugh, and just putting up with me on a daily basis.

Thank you to my family for being the best darn family I could ever have imagined for myself.

T100.jpg

NOW, LET'S EAT!!!!!! (well, you all can dig in, I will be enjoying a good beer)

turkey.jpg

ohsodisney, that is sooo weird. I am on their mailing lists for EVERYTHING and they are sooo pushing their new ship as family oriented - you should see the damn water park. Its absolutely amazing. I am soooo going on that ship when the kids get a little older. Damn snobs - well, at least we know where your friends are - here at DCL!!!!

Suzie, thanks for the invite - I would love to come on down. I used to go along with my BIL and sis to his family's thanksgiving and it was just like that. I loved it. It was such a blast, family strife included free of charge. It was great! I do love all the sides and I loved my BIL's smoked Turkey - now that is good eatin'. Now my Turkey days are boring, we get together with my husband's family and its all catered and without soul.
