Here it is...my weekly post!!! While I read, read, read these posts everyday, I just can't seem to get my butt in gear and actually type something!
Here is the re-cap of what has been happening lately:
1.) Went out to celebrate my girlfriends 40th birthday last Wednesday night, and after several cocktails

I came up with the bright idea

of hosting a Christmas party for our group of friends...not a bad idea except for the fact that we live in a small town and our "group" numbers about 50 people!!! BTJ & PJ, you can probably expect a "drunk dial" on Saturday the 10th!!!!
2.) Thanksgiving was fun...it started out with breakfast at our neighbors house (in our pajamas)...we tend to do this after we have been out drinking the night before. Then it was off to my parents house in the Detroit area for some good old "family time"!!! Ate a lot, but didn't over-do it. I'm not joining your Biggest Loser Club but it's not because I don't want to lose a few...I just don't want to set myself up for failure...so instead I am watching what I eat and keeping my numbers to myself!
3.) Friday morning I got up at
4:00 AM to join my crazy friends at
Walmart!!! By 8:00 AM I had already been to Walmart, Toys R Us, Target and the mall and was on my way to breakfast! Yes, it was crazy to get up so early, but I got what I went after so it was a successful morning!
4.) Friday afternoon we went "up north" with Pango and his Queen and their Princess...lots of snow up in the Traverse City area already...the kids had a blast playing outside, we had chili and drinks and played Catch Phrase. Fun night.
5.) Saturday we headed up to Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City for a winery crawl! It was a fund-raiser for the culinary school at the college up there. For ten dollars we got a wine glass and got to sample wine and macaroni & cheese (made by several different restaurants in the TC area) at the five wineries on the peninsula. What a blast!!! I think that Tom & Pango both called BTJ that night!
6.) Watched the finale of Biggest Loser last night and was bawling my eyes out! My girls LOVE that show so I let them stay up and watch the whole thing...10:00 is late for a "school night", but surprisingly the were not too crabby this morning!
As far as the bracelets go, count us in (2 adults and 3 kids), but I'm pretty sure that our friends won't have any part of it! Little Lady Lisa, are you in??? I didn't think so!
