With 245 days left that means that we have only 155 days to finish paying for our trip. Also for those of us returning we have 170 days until we can make Spa and Palo Ressies, or for first timers 185 days to make those.

OhsoDisney and Disney Jam fantastic QOTD's, I think that you may have a future doing these. Here is mine for the day

QOTD:

Why don't we ever hear about gruntled employees??? :confused3

Suzie, lets figure out about a meet, the only things that might be possible is that first Saturday night the 5th of Nov. We are leaving the 4th and driving all night to get there (my personal best is 17 1/2 hours), so we should be at the Beach Club by 9 a.m.

BLBCB, good luck with the move, most of us are trying to figure out a way to move south, not go further north.

CG, I know your name, are we suppose to keep it a secret?? :rolleyes1

Philly Jen can you come out and play??

Oh and where is my Queen??

Tom pirate:

Wow TT did you just call me DisneyJam??? Guess I lost my nick since I won't be able to make this trip. :cold:

Ahhh well... Back to good old DisneyJam it is then.

Ravens play tonight!! Lets see if Boller can finally figure out how to play football.

Can you guys believe... this thread started before football season began last year?? That's one heck of a long time!!

Joseph,

I am truely sorry my friend, :worship: the only reason and it is not a good excuse is that there are so many new people, I thought (and I know I shouldn't) that they might not recognize you unless I threw out the DisneyJam

Please let it be known to one and all the Disney Jam is actually Bow Tie Joe.

The :badpc: geek who can :drinking1 and :dancer: like no other.

(I forgot to PM her too so now she probably thinks I am secret agent man)

 Well is it just me or is anyone else trying to figure out how much $$$$ they will need to bring with them :confused3 ? I'm stressing ( there isn't even a smiles for stress ) LOL .

We have our 2 cruises and AKL stay paid for but I have no clue how much to bring us . I am one of those that need to pay and have my finances straight years before I leave . I guess what i need is a good stiff drink :drinking1 . we are playing Texas Hold Em tonight and a few Mike hard lemonade will do me good .

Castlegazer & Susie let me know what yu guys think about meeting up for dinner :grouphug: . I know we are going to Animal Kingdom that day so we probally won't be back to our room until 6:00 or so .
Sorry i have no QOTD today , maybe my hubby can come up with one , he's a silly guy :bounce: .

See you later

:lovestruc Hi Gang,

Greetings from Philly-home of T.O.- the most conceited RB of all time!!!! But he scored a TD last night in like 5 seconds....so we have to :lovestruc him! Ick! Love Donovan and Tre Thomas though!!! Moats too! He is near perfect according to some sports commentators around here!!! Philly could use a little bit of "near perfect" about now!

Ohsodisney, we spent about $2000 in addition to the cruise price last time we went in 5/04! We drank far too much and didn't really pay attention to our spending! We don't regret it one bit, but the price of the cruise went up so much that we might have to tighten the reins a bit! And I am now a SAHM, which I wasn't the last time....We are Verandah snobs-once you go verandah, you never go back(unfortunately). I'd rather bring my own alcohol on board than scale back on the cabin. I know many people would disagree, but ...see above! :rotfl: :rotfl:

We have connecting verandah cabins with our friends, who were also a part of the now famous 5/1/04 Magic cruise. It is nice, because we can party in one room and put the kids in another-they are all too young to be left otherwise. Or if you are like we were...on the last night....put the friends in one room(packing) and the party-ers in another room!!! Kids included- in fact, the kids took the funniest pictures(Hannah and Sarah) unbeknownst to us...(is that how you spell that?)....

Mermaid Patty and family are coming to visit next weekend for our cruise planning Luau! It should get ugly- she is briniging a bucket of Mojito's and we have enough stoli vanilla to kill an elephant... Last time Mermaid Patty and I broke out the Key Lime Martini's....let's just say-A1A's got nothin on us!!!

For those of you who have asked for the famous Key Lime Martini recipe, I could give it to you but then I'd have to...you know......that is HeadGear Pat's job security! He is the official drink master of the pirates! I'm sure Tom, if we are really nice, you will forget HeadGear(he is done with his braces now.....and going to graduate in the spring :rotfl: ). Give him another name....some worthy pirate bartender name!

Anyway, I started on the wine a little early today...I spend the afternoon at Chuckee Freaking Cheeses with Kate at a birthday party! Ick.....

Hannah and Kate start school Monday....anyone else with me.....I have a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure......and perhaps whatever else I can fit into a 6 hour school day..... Soccer has started, school....browines.....OMG!!!! I love the chaos compared with the summer where I thought my kids would kill each other while I was in the shower!

OK-enough out of me....This is a post worthy of Heidi-the disboard crack-ho! Yikes!

Let's see if I can participate in the QOTD- even though the taking a dump one made me laugh for hours-I know- I need a life

A train station is where the train stops. A bus station is where the bus stops. On my desk, I have a work station...

This one is pretty funny too-
"For Sale: Parachute. Only used once, never opened, small stain"

gotta run,
Take care all,
PJ

PJ...YOU ROCK!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Can anyone say 244 MORE DAYS??? :jumping1: :jumping1:

We're off to a neighborhood bonfire tonight...the kids run around and play and the parents sit around the fire and drink!!! :drinking1 Sounds like almost as much fun as taking a cruise with all of you!!!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!!!

Hi Phillyjen

I totally hear you about the verandeh , we however had to scale back due to the AKL 4 day stay prior to the cruise . I believe we are deck 6 deluxe porthole window cabin . On our cruise on the Legend we opted for the Junior suite and that will be awesome :cool1:

I noticed the big jump in price . It already went up by $720.00 for this Diney cruise since we booked in Feb . The same goes for the Legend ,that increased by almost $900.00 . Gas prices are really hitting the cruise industry hard :moped:

A bomb fire sounds nice .

I finally won at Texas Hold em last night :cheer2: . I think that is because all the mens attention was drawn to the FB game . I am actully trying my hand on a FB weekly board type thing LOL . My team is Philly thou , we love McNab he is from Syracuse ,I do have my a small place in my heart thou for my team I grew up with watching with my Dad and thats the Cowboys .

Well time to go to bed , the girls are down and I'm next . No nooky for hubby :love2: TEEHEEHEE .

OhDisney, OMG- we are from Syracuse and that is why we LOVE McNabb....and he is becoming an awesome quarterback! My husband uses the same excuse to like the Cowboys. He loved them when he was a kid! Unfortunately, if you say that too loud here you might get beaten up! That is too funny. Are you from Syracuse? It is WAY too early on sunday to go back to all the posts and find out. I am up this early bc after all that wine, the hostess at the party we went to was passing out Southern Comfort shots(It has been awhile, but I still have it.... :rotfl2: ) Anyway, the kids were all riding their razor scooters down the hill this couple has on the side of their house. Couple of us old moms decided if they could do it, why not us? Well, the first time down was successful. Then I let Hannah's little boyfriend call me out! Now I can't walk, swollen knee. I also have grass stains all over my new shirt and a skinned elbow! Everyone saw my undies(riding a razor scooter and wearing skirts don't mix) AND, to top it all off, I was holding Hannah's glasses for "safe keeping"(which I now know to be a terrible idea). They were lost, we found them and they broke! Some night eh?

Anyway, maybe coffee will make me feel better!
PJ

Oh no , well it sounded like a good idea riding the scooter , the kids were probally laughing . Sounds like something I would do :rotfl: . We get together with my husband family which is HUGE all the time and unfortunaltey I am usaully the one who is always getting the kids going , IE crab apple throwing , water fights standing up on a sled going down hill , they all do what I do :confused3 , don't know why HEHE .My daughter wears glasses too and it seems we always getting them straightened . Hope your knee heals soon , you know as we get older things don't heal as fast

I grew up in Syracuse . I went to school at St James :teacher: right in the valley then moved up to the well renouned school ,Corcoran , that was a culture schock  We are now in the country becuase I had to have horses , well that is until I found out I was pregnant with twins , then the pasture turned into an inground pool .Did you live right in Syracuse too ?

Your husband sounds like a cool man  . Anyone who like Philly is o.k in my book .

We grew up in Baldwinsville and went to Baker High School. We moved to the Philadelphia suburbs about 6 years ago. I can't believe it has been that long!

I am still in quite a lot of pain, finding new bruises and bumps every few minutes! What a wreck I was last night.....

PJ

We actually live right outside of B'ville now .

Well I just went to have my hair darkened back to my brown color from the blonde , I am so nervous :worried: that it will be a funky color . I have 15 minutes left to go !!! My friend who is a hairdresser just slapped it on for me , I am just tried of paying $100.00 for color every 5 weeks at the salon .

We went to the State Fair today and Holly & Mckenna were so good but they got tired from walking after about 2 hours , typically they are fine at the parks thou .I think this is our last year thou , it seems nothing changes , a goat is a goat and and every cow looks the same

What a small world. Mermaid Patty, our friend who will also be on the cruise lives in Radisson, strangely just 2 streets away from the house I grew up in. Most of my husband's family still lives there, in Cicero and Bville.

My friends are in China right now adopting their 3rd daughter, she's 6 years old. They are "getting her" (I am not sure what the correct terminology is for that) right now- it is 9am tomorrow in China. I can't believe it. They have waited soo long. I am checking my email every second waiting for word on how things went! Like they don't have enough else to deal with right now....

Anyway, long day today. School starts tomorrow so the kiddies are already in bed. Off to watch the Cowboys game.....

Oh, sweet Jesus woman, drink more now!!!!!

We are totally in the verandah snobs boat too. We wanted to save some money on our last cruise on Celebrity and went with a porthole - BIG Mistake. We hated it! Gotta have those verandahs!!!

We usually spend about $1,500 more through drinks, excursions, shopping and coffees. I'll be carting along some liquor too this go round - after all, I drive a big bohemouth of a vehicle and I am feeling that more than the cost of a cruise.

Ohsodisney - Its just me who will be in WDW prior to the cruise. Suzie will be down in the fall. What we can do is plan on meeting up for some drinks prior to or after your dinner. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge so we can leave you some contact info and you just just call when you are in the lodge and we can go from there if we are around - my plans thus far are in super flux but they involve dinner and then seeing fireworks somehow - either through a cruise or by going over to the Poly or the Boardwalk.

OK - so given the talk today I am adding this as my mental siesta photo today (gotta tell ya, though we had a MUCH larger verandah on Princess):

:hourglass Well time is flying bye! It seems like yesterday we booked this cruise (14 months out) and here we are 242 days away

Been so busy I haven't checked in in a while, and I noticed on the list of cruisers we were there! Glad to see my absence didn't have us forgotten.

We are a family of 4
DH, me, DS6 and DD5.

It sure is great to see there will children their age for SURE!!! I don't know why but I was worried about that?

Have to get to reading all of these pages and catch up!

BACK!!!!!! inthemood!

Will your son and daughter be those ageas next year? My son will be 4 next year when we cruise. Sounds like we have a great group of friends for them already in the club.

Castlegazer .
Oh it did sound like suzie was coming down to WDW before the cruise maybe I was mistaken .
I would love to get a verandeh but I think I am in over my head now because we are booking a cruise for Nov 2006 or Jan 2007 on the new Freedom of the seas RCCL :boat: .I actaully did some searching for cruises and came up with Costa which we have been on too and they do the kids sail free and we can get a suite for the 4 of us for $2100.00 , now thats a steal .
I guess I think that if I save $1000.00 I can go on my next one sooner :)

As time grows closer we will have to set up a time to met we will definetly have to have a couple drinks :drinking1
sounds like a great way to kick off the vaca .

Hi inthemood , my twin daughters will be 4 1/2 at the time of sailing , it does sound like to kids will have plenty of sailing companions themselves :grouphug:

ohsodisney - we are going down to the World for my birthday (quick fix trip) in September and going on our family week vacation Oct/Nov. We will be flying in direct for the cruise that morning in April. So, no, sadly we will be unable to meet up before the cruise in April. Unless you're going to be there when we are the other times..... Although, I do LOVE WL and WCC! Have a great time! Will see you on the cruise, I feel sure!!!

I've been watching the Magic cruising back to FL and, although it makes me happy to see it coming home, I'm sad because I would have LOVED to have been on that cruise! Two weeks!!! WOW and how cool! My TA is on the cruise so I will have to live vicariously through her stories later.... I was watching the Panama Canal video and actually started crying - what a sissy, I know! Just looked too cool and I missed it! Bummer..... Makes me even more anxious for our cruise! Hard to believe that our April cruise will be almost exactly one year that we were on our cruise this year! Missed it by one week! Hm...

Nite all!
