Nope, not stopping to pick (up) a Rose! Getting closer!!

Is the hint up? I forgot exactly where they live but I'm guessing it is a state up from them?

I love Starbucks, the Seahawks, and what about the fish market, Trisha I have to be in Washington for work do you know somewhere I could stay?

Tom pirate:

I mean state of Washington. We love Seattle too. Kirk lived out there for 2 years when he was younger, lived on Queen Ann Hill. He would move back in a second if I gave the OK but it is just to far from my family.

Yes, Michelle! You have guessed correctly. Sonny, tell her what she has won!

Um, nothing, but thank you for playing this game! Ladies and Gentleman, Michelle who guessed correctly!

And yes, Tom, I will do a trip report! Tori is really excited about going out to meet Trish and her family! Yes, I am too but you'd think Tori never traveled anywhere! She dragged her rolling princesses backpack out and started putting her toys and books in it. When I asked her what she was doing, she told me that she had to pack! Guess she's been hearing that too much from me lately!

So, never been to WA state much less the west coast! Shall be interesting! Getting excited and can't wait!

Getting excited and can't wait!

Not fair....how come you guys get to meet before the cruise?

Oh, I get it, you guys are up to no good :3dglasses Beware fellow cruisers :sail:. I think me mateys princess: princess: may be making war plans during their little visit.

Trish took pity on me one day....poor Suzie can't go to Palm Beach....and invited us to come out! Still can't believe she'll put up with us for a week!! WOW~I think she might be looking for sainthood!

Hey, you never know what little schemes..I mean, plans, we might be coming up with. I have lots of friends in low places......we can come up with some goodies! So, beware, beware, be a very wary bear!

I just wish CA, OR and WA were just a little closer, we could have a small before cruise meet! That would have been fun.....but we will all be on that ship before you know it, sitting by the pool and saying "James, another round!".....boy, that sounds familiar, doesn't it?! Where'd I hear that one?

Suzie , are you going to visit the Roses?
Hey! That would be great!!

Honey, you better get the indoor plumbing put in! We got company!

The Roses

Ahoy mateys, ye found the treasure!!

Yes, Suzie and I may be scheming and it might not be pretty, so beware! :duck: How fun it will be for us to sit here 3 feet from each other and both be on the boards! :surfweb: :surfweb: However, she and Tori are being subjected to my kids' school Spring Program within hours of her arrival. Now people who humor me when I talk about all my virtual friends :3dglasses will finally believe me! (or else they'll just think I hired Suzie & Tori to play the part!) Besides, I still haven't started packing for the trip, so I'm just using her for her packing skills. :teeth:

Tom, thanks for helping out with clues! If any of you ever travel this way though, DH knows Seattle as well as our own town. We'd be happy to help out! :) (couldn't find any banana hammocks...darn!)

Michelle--sorry I missed your post...yes, he was there on business. He's leaving for Buffalo early Monday am for his next stop. This trip started in DC and he's got something like 5 different clients he managed to work into this one trip. He's beginning to do so much on the east coast, that I wonder if we shouldn't just move there. We are well entrenched with fam/friends here though, as my pal Suze will soon see, so it would be heart-wrenching to leave. But he and I are always up for adventure...ya never know...!

A pre-cruise meet would be so much fun! All you west-coasters, come on up...lets party!! party: We'll be serving "Empty V-8 Mini-Cans-Now-Filled-With Beer Butt Game Hen" courtesy of the PAHW! :woohoo:

The one thing Suzie needs to be sure and pack is this: :umbrella: ...Just kidding, I have plenty and no one around here uses them anyway. I just wanted an excuse to use a new smilie I haven't used before, hee hee.

And just so I don't scare her away, I need to work on my house this week, so I may not be on much! I'll be checking in when I can. Thank you all for playing. :cloud9:

One more thing--sorry, I almost forgot!--Barb (and anyone else wondering) if you have additions or changes to the database, PM me or email me with them and I'll post an update. Each update will be named v2, v3 and so on. I've already got a bunch of info for v2, so go ahead and get those in to me and I'll post v2 in the next day or so. Since it's a file on the site, it can't be changed on there and I think it might be a bit big to post as a database, I don't know. Suzie will delete the previous version once I get the new one posted (right, Suzie?) so you'll always know you've got the most current version. Hope that helps!

What, no midnight trip to the outhouse?! You're taking all the fun out of the tip!!

Yes, we can delete the old version of the spreadsheet once updates are completed, that way only the "good" one is out there. Trish, let's fiddle with things while I'm there since my signon has editing features.

Mmmmmmm, forgot about the coffee out there! My friend told me to look for Tim Horton's over on the Canada side - they're donuts are supposed to be incredible (orgasmic is the word she used, though!). But totally forgot that WA is the Mother of Coffee! Starbucks, Schmarbucks! Bring it on....but in decaf, please!

We also have to order the bracelets, so everyone make sure that Trish has your order.

Also, PLEASE check the other site. If you haven't left your precruise contact info and want to try to do a meet before, make sure your info is there. Would hate to miss out on anyone!

Tori's got a bit of a runny nose this morning, so she can't go to school...even though it's just allergies! Things are blooming, allergies are going! So, my Big Helper Girl is going to help mommy do the errands today. She's gotten so much better with being a helper instead of a hindrance! Nothing like chasin a three year old around the supermarket! Keeps you young! right.....

Chat later, everyone! :wave2:

Ok, for all of you planners like myself, I have added a new spreadsheet to the files on the other site that contains the WDW Park Hours for all the Parks/Waterparks for the week prior to the cruise. Included are the days with extra magic hours, parades, etc. This helped me plan which parks to tentatively go to on which days. Also, the Magic Kingdom closes early at 7pm on Friday April 28th because of Grad Night so you may want to hit that park early in the day if that is where you are headed.

I'm so excited- we are leaving exactly 4 weeks from today for WDW! :mickeyjum :goofy: :donald: :stitch: :tigger: :dumbo:

Finally posting to check in after a big absence....
Just celebrated our 10th anniversary on Sat. Tim's dad and his wife came in for the weekend and some family had a little party for us. It was really nice. When it was Tim's dad's anniversary last year they were in and we took them to this Mexican restaurant for lunch, there were about 20 of us. Well we caught them by surprise. We told the people there that it was their anniversary and they bring out these sombreros and this big plate of ice cream on a sopapilla with tons of whipped cream and chocolate and strawberry sauce on it and then sing to you while they put it all over your faces! It's great! Well, this time they got us back, it was pretty funny. They take a polaroid shot of you and then give it to you. They made us kiss during it and we've got all this whipped cream and sauce all over our faces. Definately a moment to treasure!

Some of the moments from the party was- Tim's dad got us a nice set of knives for the kitchen....We haven't had any good ones the whole time we've been married. One of Tim's little cousins gave us a Napolean Dynamite doll....lol. And beforehand we had decided not to get eachother anything because the cruise was supposed to be our gift to eachother. We said we'd just get eachother cards and I told Tim I didn't even want him to give it to me at the party because I always get all sappy and cry.....lol. Well, we're opening the presents and the last one is in a Finding Nemo bag. (By the way, we got several disney themed cards, gift bags, and even a disney liscence plate, I wonder why?) So I'm pulling out the tissue paper and get to the card and it's from Tim! I said, "I told you not to get me anything." He just shrugged his shoulders. Well, earlier we had been in Walmart and I couldn't find him anywhere and finally I ended up having him paged! hee hee Well, that's what he was doing, getting the gift and taking it to the car. Well, he ended up getting me the same card that someone else had gotten us...pretty funny. On the front it's a picture of cruise ship and it says "I wish I could have gotten you a trip to the Carribean, but this will have to do." You open it and it makes the sound of a ships horn blowing...pretty cute. So I open it up and it's a camcorder! I had talked like a month before about camcorders and which one I would get and all, not trying to drop hints or anything. Well, he remembered. Ahhhh. He's so sweet. So of course I cried a bit in front of everyone.

In other news, our bathroom is finally done except the light and the vent fan has to go up. It's so nice though. I mudded the drywall myself and painted it all. Pretty proud of myself for it.

Well, that's it for now....hopefully things will calm down a bit and I can post more. ttfn

I just want it noted that I had your little trip figured out already prior to Tom's hint machines - see what I mean, Tom, you gotta hit these guys over the head sometimes - notes must be taken by the side of all computers for tests on board! ;) :teeth:

Alas I was not around to be able to get the prize. When do you leave?

Maria, I hope everyone is feeling better today

OK - so what are we getting for the prize winner for the biggest loser contest???? - The first person to reach goal is ohsodisney!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Congratulations Maria - that is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

By the way - Beer Butt Chicken is a delicacy!!!!

I want to report now that I lost another 2 pounds making the total loss 5 pounds in two weeks - even though I had a lot of business meals last week at the managers meetings - HOWEVER, by the time I get to weigh in tomorrow this will most certainly not be true. I was out at my Mom's for the weekend and my sis and I are big time foodies and I knew it was going to be bad. I did what they suggest of acting it out in your head prior - thinking about your course of action - and did pretty well (except my Mom made a damn spring cake for us that had to be eaten) UNTIL Saturday night. My sis called after a concert and asked us to meet them at a wine bar. The kids were down so we decided to go at 10 pm. We get there and I had thought in my head, I'll just have water and hang out - CHYEAAAAHHHHH RIGHT!!!! I did a red wine flight then I had a piece if the bacon wrapped dates with almonds that she ordered, then I had another piece of Napalese bruschetta, then I had to order Lavender Creme Brule - AMAZINGLY GOOD! All at 11pm at night and after I had had a full meal, dessert of that damn spring cake again, and a beer. Kiss those 2 pounds hello again! :guilty:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY APRIL & TIM!!!!

It sounds like a wonderful night - I would have loved that! We got our cam corder for our 2nd anniversary while in the Caribbean - I am thinking about buying a new one while in St. Thomas at the same place, Royal Caribbean. Enjoy!!!!! - I love having it.

I would be jumping for joy too if I had mudded a bathroom and painted it. I hired someone. I knew there was no way for me to get it done.

First off, Happy Anniversary April and Tim! 10 years! And to get the bathroom done - double wow! Congrats on both! Although I was expecting to see a picture of the bathtub sitting in the living room! Darn!! Glad to see you back on the boards, too!

CG - I figured you did! You would be the one to get a 100% on our tests!Hope you had a good time away but don't kill yourself over the meal, it's only one and you can get right back on that wagon of weightloss! Missed seeing you on the boards, too! We leave Friday and come back the next Friday. I'm sure I'll talk to you through it all, though.

Okay, really got to get my butt in gear and hit the showers. Today is not looking pretty around here...11:00 (almost) and still in my jammies....

C YA'!

Also forgot to give a big shout out for Nikki and Bryan! Happy 7th Anniversary! Have a great day and enjoy your time together today! :cool1: :cool1:
