Got my cruise docs yesterday. Going to start FE shopping this afternoon. Found out this morning I have to have a root canal next week - -not something I planned for having to do before I leave but it has to be done.

Remember -- tomorrow we can all say "we are going on a cruise THIS MONTH"

My daughter has started packing...pretty funny to see what an almost 3 year old deems important to take...basically a bunch of big bulky toys that 1) definitely don't need to go and 2) would not fit in a suitcase if they did need to go oh and about 10 baby dolls...I told her she could bring ONE....not sure how that turned into putting every single baby doll she could find in the guest room where we are storing our cruise items I'm sure she will pull them out to play with between now and the cruise anyways...so I'm not too concerned at this point (hopefully she will forget and there will not be a scene when we really pack - because in her little mind they are all coming).

I have started making my take with us piles. DH needs to shop but this is way too soon. I will feel better when our carpeting/painting project is over tomorrow and the kids can move back into their own rooms and I can get to their clothes I need this cruise!!!

It is very busy where I work and as people are getting overwhelmed with the work load, I am smiling as I am counting down

Someone asked me today, how many more days, and I told them, and said that tomorrow I can say I am going on vaction THIS MONTH.

Got cruise docs today. Had started packing weeks ago as it is New Hamphire, so what do I need to keep my summer clothes in the drawers for ? I got them out and washed them so they could smell fresh like a daisy.

If needed, I could leave tomorrow, I am all packed . DH and DD, not ready yet.

Wow, I'm so surprised to hear so many have not received their doc's.
I am up in Canada and received mine on March 20th. We also booked through DU.

I'm sure they will be there any day now!

Recieved the Cruise Docs from the TA yesterday. Woo Hoo!!!!

I was already jazzed, but getting the docs yesterday and knowing today is April makes it even better!

..... however... i'm curious..... was anyone else underwhelmed by the total contents of the cruise docs? I opened it and thought, "that's all?" Not sure what I expected, but thought there'd be a bigger brouchure, something fancy, dancing elephants with trumpets, maybe the Mickey Cruise Horn sound when I opened them.

But who cares! I'm Cruising THIS MONTH!!!!!

I was also underwhelmed by it. I already did online check-in so the only docs that I needed in the cruise docs, excluding the luggage tags, were my DCL transfers coupons and the onboard airline check-in docs. I guess I thought there would be more to it than that but oh well! Better than being overwhelmed!

So funny - got our yesterday and thought the exact same thing...like hmmm, did they forget to put some of the items inside our packet?

And thought it was a little strange that the envelope was addressed to our daugther

I am really excited to have them though - just one less thing to worry about We're getting closer and I'm getting EXCITED!

That's what I thought too! Last time we sailed with DCL in 2006, I recall these oval paper luggage tags with characters on them but now I think they are the ones you get when you disembark the ship!
