I put these out to verify spellings - and get some info from folks like you, for whom I am missing names. Happy to have you with us and now we have real names for you, too.




Do we need to "Be Prepared" when we meet Walter? Should we avoid cliffs when he is around?




No, these are proof sheets for MY printing job. I wanted to make sure spelling were right.

I'll have the name tags & lanyards (they came in the mail last week) for you at the Meet & Greet April 24 at 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge (before the Life Boat Drill). Even if you are not a social animal, come down and get your Lanyards. It's intentionally a short time period so no one has to spend a long awkward time talking to people they've never seen before.

I ordered 250 lanyards and would rather not have leftovers, so if anyone in your sailing party wants one or could want one or at least wouldn't object to having one, let me know.

I can make a "no-name tag" for those who don't want their names showing (some of the come-alongs with the DISers).

Are you going to the top of the page - in the red bar on the left is "User CP". Click it takes you to your DIS home page where one of the options on the left column (towards the bottom) is Send New Private Message.

It will be nice to meet so many of the people that have been so helpful with planning this trip. Once again thank you.

I'm starting to get very excited for this trip. I plan on going shopping tomorrow but like other people I'm not exactly sure what to wear. Hopefully it will come to me as I'm walking the mall.

Here are name tags for the missing people:

I changed Dicedawg

I worked through several different types of paper to achieve the same look as that on the computer screen - card stock was too faded; brochure paper just weird; but a sheet of photo paper for each page makes a great set of name tags; the red is rich and the black isn't faded - yeah! And I've had this photo paper since the Halloween 2008 cruise; finally, a chance to put it to use.

Then I opened the Xyron cold-laminate machine that I ordered in December. The final effect is like a glossy playing card - smooth, shiny (but no glare) and full color.

With all of your help in proofreading, now name tag production is low effort.

Keep corrections and additions coming.

Also, if it isn't hard to chage, can you change the name under my husband Steve from Dicecatt to Dicedawg? He isn't on the Dis but that is the name he uses on other boards and I think he will be more inclined to wear it, because he'll get a kick out of the fact that you know what it is. maybe I can even get him to come here

I actually use the favourites bar - next to the Favourites at the top there is a star with a green arrow (on internet explorer 7) and it puts a link right next to it - you can remove it by right clicking. I tend to do this with trip reports I read, I save it on the page I finish on and can then pick it up easily, then delete and re-add it with the new page.

Howdy All!

I just booked this cruise and I am absolutly excited to be joining you all!

I am traveling by myself, and I am very interested in perhaps joining a private tour group in the ports if there are still any openings...

I've tried to scan through some of the messages, but, my god, there are a lot of them... lol... are there any brunches planned and can I still join?
