4/15/2007 Anyone?

We gave the kids a box with things filled with Mickey things and I made a photo album that said "Cruise 07"! Oh, boy are they excited! Now I don't know have to hide things and watch what I say!
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. This week it's passport time!

Laurie

Welcome to the DIS!:welcome: There are a few kids in our DIS group around your DD's age. I believe we have a 16 year old boy, one girl turning 16 on the cruise and a 14 year old girl. She should meet kids in Aloft also. We took DD two years ago when she was 15 and she had the time of her life. She met kids that she still stay's in touch with!

Hey Judy I see your from Ct. glad to see another nutmeger migrating.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on those flights. I'm still hesitant because although the prices are more tolerable, one of the airlines we'll have to fly is not my favorite ... actually, once upon a time, I swore I'd NEVER intentially book a flight w/them. I still keep hoping there's some pixie dust w/another airline that can match their price :rotfl:

BUT the good news is that I made my final payment today  Now I'm all set to try and get Palo ressies on Monday :cheer2:

We have to make our final payment by the 25th.

Anyone know what excursions they plan to book?

We made our final payment yesterday, got passports done and in the mail, now just have to figure out when we can book excursions. The kids want to do parasailing! Has anyone ever renting at Comfort Suites and gone to Atlantis for the day? Is it worth it?
Thanks,
Laurie

We to are planing to go to Atlantis haven't decided on the beach thing or just the Aquarium. I herd a rumor they're opening a brand new water park in Febuary if thats the case I hope to check it out, it suppose to be tremendous.

Not sure yet what we will do. My 8yr old daughter wants to snorkel, but I'm not sure how she will do with that.

We are going to do the Discover Atlantis tour in Nassau. We did look into booking a day room at the resort but decided we just want to look around, have lunch and then get back to the port for a stroll around the straw market.
In Castaway Cay we dont have any structured activities planned but we will snorkel, swim, float, soak up some sun and have a really good time.

DD wants to parasail in CC and DH wants to kayak. I just want to sit on the beach!:cool2:

We cruised to Nassau the summer before last on NCL and toured Atlantis. The aquarium is wonderful and I would recommend visiting there. :thumbsup2 We didn't go to the pool or beach, so I can't comment on that. We took a cab from the port instead of taking an excursion. It was quick and easy. This trip we may just stay onboard.

I think we may make Palo brunch ressies instead of dinner. I haven't discussed it with DH yet. We had a wonderful dinner at Palo the last time, but thought we might try the brunch this time.

I bought lime green wristbands the other day at Walmart. Where can I find Disney green t-shirts? Is everyone going to be wearing green on Day 1?

Green wrist bands are a great idea, Laurie. I'll have to pick some up. I have a lime green shirt that I plan to wear for embarkation. I'll try to get DH & DD to wear something lime green. I don't know if they will. We should get lime green ribbon for our luggage, especially the carry-ons. Does anyone one else have ideas?

DH & I are meeting our friend's for dinner tonight to discuss the cruise. I'll see if they will wear lime green. They are not on the boards, so they don't know about all of us. :rotfl2:
