Narcooses turned out to be wonderful. The menu is a good combination of the best offerings at CG, AP, and FF. We really enjoyed it. We caught the boat at GF to MK. At the gates, Grand ma pulls out her Annual Pass holder, and its EMPTY. No way, I checked before we left. Now I know the drill, I can head to Guest Services, but that will take time and we just got here. Grandma searches and eventually finds another holder with her pass. Thank goodness. I have been up way too long at this point, and DH looked like he would have just gone back to the hotel if she had forgotten it. He was way tired. But tragedy avoided, so we headed to the Redhead's favorite ride- Its a Small World. She had been playing the KidClip of the song to the baby for weeks and now she was going to give her the personal tour of the ride. She was very excited. Fantasyland was crowded but the line for IASW moves fast. The baby danced through the entire ride. Afterward, we tried to find a place to watch the parade. Now, let me say that I don't understand why people go on vacation and leave all of their courtesy and common sense at home. You have never seen such rude people. We stood of the the side on one of the large bridge walkways. We met a lovely family from VA there and chatted until the parade. Now my kids would have been able to see had the rude family, that showed up just prior to the parade, not climbed over the fence and stood on the lawn in front of them. NO CM's came by, except on who just ignored them, and they ignored everyone and just blocked all of our views. DH had to put DD's on his shoulders in shifts, I took turns as well. Boy, would I need that rainforest room. I half jokingly suggested that we ought to throw mulch at them or something to get their attention. (Ok, Bad Mom award, but I wasn't entirely serious and I did make my DS stop throwing said mulch after he landed a third piece in the one teen boy's hair. When the kid started looking around, I told DS that was enough. Ok, Bad Mom, I know.)
After the parade, wouldn't you know, another CM comes around and chases the rude family off. Little late, but whatcha gonna do? We stayed where we were for Wishes. A new family with a little girl in a stroller joined us. Wishes was incredible. What was even more incredible was the amount of people who want to walk in the dark through a crowd of people. Since when did an inch of space become a highway? We were crushed against the fence and a pack of teen girls forming a chain tried to walk past and ended up stepping into the little girl's stroller- on the little girl!! The mumbled sorries and continued. The family beside us in now holding their daughter, she was ok. Then comes a woman on the largest ECV I have ever seen. Her way of dealing with the crowd is to start running over people! Then another woman, I kid you not, climbs over the woman's ECV to get through. It was unreal. We decided to head back into Tomorrowland and then to Main ST. As we approach the Plaza Restaurant, CM's say "This way- shortcut to Main ST." First thought, do I want to walk behind the scenes, but I don't linger on this as Grandma is carrying sleeping baby who must now feel like she ways a ton. So I take the shortcut. I try not to look, don't want to remember- don't think I will as I have been up for 40 hrs +. Get to Main St in two minutes. WOW! Wait for DH. He isn't happy, says the shortcut "Ruined the Magic." Now, he doesn't mean this personally, to me, but I take it that way. (no sleep, I get cranky) So now we start to fuss a little, he just says, "Do you think Walt would want anyone to see his backstage?" I agree, but keep that to myself as I am still thinking that he is mad at me, which he isn't. So now I mad and grumbling to myself. We get to GF and kids and I take shortcut to our room, a back door which bypasses the lobby. DS asks why Daddy isn't taking the shortcut, I tell him Daddy doesn't want to ruin his magic by missing the lobby. (I know, Bad Mom award) DS giggles and we all tease poor tired Daddy about his ruined magic. This gets old real fast for DH, but stayed fun for the rest of us for the entire trip. DH did explain he didn't mean I ruined it and I apologized to him. (See, Good wife award)
