We are!! :dance3: Going to book flights today hopefully! Been holding out to get my credit vouchers from SW from last year (DD couldn't fly home due to the fact that when we got back to Orlando to stay a couple of days there we had to take her to Urgent Care. She was burning up with fever of 103 :scared1:! They said she had H1N1 so no flying...so had to keep our minivan rental and drive home :scared1: :scared1:) I also was hoping that I would get a DING w/SW but that hasn't happened so I guess I better go ahead and book! Right now SW has the flights we need at $122/there and $141/back. Not really what I was hoping for but oh well! I thought about booking just the flight down and waiting on the flight back but I'm scared that the price will only go higher so I don't think I want to risk it!

We're excited though!! We're cruising with our friends from the UK who we met on our 1st DCL cruise on the Wonder in 2007! This will now be our 4th and 5th DCL cruise together !

Anybody on looking to book the Fantasy this week? Too bad we're not cruising soon so that we can get the onboard rebooking discount!

I booked my flight home on opening day of Southwest and it hasn't changed. I kind of doubt it will as the later flight the cheapest fare is showing as "sold out". I did get cheap fare down thru Airtran(which will eventually be southwest).

We are going to skip cruising in 2012, or at least that is what I am thinking now. I am already planning my November 2011 usual week for WDW.

:cheer2: Celebrating... I got moved to first dining. My daughter has reflux and she really cannot eat big meals that late. Wow, very excited!!!!! Still waiting on my GTY status, but I am sure that wont' happen until a month or so before the cruise. yippeee!!!

Got my GTY too... midship on 8, had an 11A, got an 11A, fine with me. I do hope though that they move us for our second part of the cruise so we dont' have to move our stuff. If not, will just pack two bags, one for each leg of the cruise.

Yay!!! Got our flights booked last night :cool1: !! We're arriving in the evening on 4/8 and flying back home on 4/18 around 2pm. I'm so excited!

Now to figure out hotels! Have most of you booked a hotel yet?

We are just doing the Hyatt since we are coming in Saturday eve.

The float out video's on youtube sure have made it all seem more real. Maybe we will all survive the winter!! Heading to NYC next weekend for a girls trip. Going to Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, doing double decker bus, going to see a play, should be fun. Happy November, one more month closer to the DREAM!

Thanks hopefully they will meet in kids club.

Does anyone know if they are doing pirates in the carribean night?

Someone from Disney that i spoke to on the phone told me all4 night cruises do Pirates night but i still haven't seen anything about it on the site. I think we may have to wait until January to see if they do it for sure. I hope so ,it is one of my families favorite nights.

I can't remember but i know their are a few of us. We should have a great time. Are they holding your luggage in the room or at the desk? We have the same room so we don't have to pack up. I am so glad for that. Scootch what is your first name? If you don't know i'm Crystal~ TTYS.:rotfl2:

How did you get moved to early dinning? I keep trying but no luck. My DD always falls asleep at the 8:30 seating. Also how do you check your booking? To see if it is a guaranteed state room. Thanks!!

We uasually book the Radison but not until like 90 days out. Do not forget to book your shuttle to and from your hotel room. This is why i book with Radison $ is included and it saves me a wks parking at Port.

I booked through Dreams unlimited, so I check it every few days, that is how I found out about being moved to early dining and also my gty room number. I never did get any email letting me know these details, if I hadn't checked there, I wouldn't have known. My name is Amy... my girls are Matti and Kenzey. They will be 11 and 9 at cruise time. Although my 11 year old is very clingy, so I think she will go to the 10 and under club. :rolleyes1 She freaked out when I told her 11 years olds are free to roam the ship. She won't go the next isle at Walmart without me! I do not have the same cabin, but am still holding out that I will get them. We got upgraded(stunned since it was just the three of us since daddy isnt' coming) last cruise at about 60 days out. Again, no real notification, just stumbled upon it on my reservation. If not, I will pack a suitcase for the first leg and a separate one for the second leg... that is sort of what I did last year when we combined a disney cruise with also going to Disney/Discovery Cove and Sea World. I do know last time we wanted to change our dining rotation... and went to Wavebands. There were a ton of people there changing and they have all these cards with new times/rotations on it, so not sure how many is in your party, but by going to wavebands, we even ended up at a table of our own!, a table designed for 4.... just by asking to have our rotation changed. We did not plan on going to dinner after Atlantis, just getting room service instead and enjoying the verandah we were upgraded to, and I didn't want to miss Animators Palate, so that is why we switched rotation. So I wouldn't lose hope about early dining yet, unless you have a group larger than 4. As far as transportation, I got a car for the way back to the airport(for like $45!!) as our flight doesn't leave till mid/late afternoon. The girls really want to take the bus for the "excitement" factor and my hubby said he would prefer we pay for the bus so we don't miss the ship!... so I do have that transfer figured out. Plus with the Hyatt, I don't have to mess with luggage, another bonus when I am traveling alone. Getting excited.

We are heading to NYC this coming weekend, the weather is looking 60 degrees... so I am clueless what to pack. Got my essentials packed and then will figure out clothes maybe on tuesday. Hope it stays nice, we are doing the double decker bus on fri and sat and it would be nice to be able to sit on top for a bit of it. :)

Thanks for all the info Amy. I actually found all of the state room stuff out after i asked you these ?. I booked threw Disney but still am being told no early seating available yet. I just can't see my 11 year old daughter Coral waiting until 9pm for dinner if we have the 8:30 seating. By the time you order and get served it will be so late. I did have the 6pm ressie until we found out Disney lost our first reservation. It has been really frustrating since then but atleast we are on the cruise. We have 5 so we usually have a tabel alone. I still would rather two inside state rms instaed a family suite with a veranda because with two rms you have two showers and i have a 20 yr old and 17 yr old lol. I just hope were not totally on top of each other and fighting for bth rm time.
I too am getting really excited! I still need to find someone to add one of us on their ressie for Atlantis on the second half of our BTB cruise or i will be in the spa alone.(not that i would mind) My DD was clingy until our last DC. She met alot of nice girls and than we barely saw her. So i know this time she will be really ready.
Have fun in NY city. I'm only 1 hr and 45 minutes from NY in PA and have never brought my kids their. The weather is supose to warm up this wk but ya never know it changes so fast.

From Disney website on 10/26...Hey Disney Parks Bloggers! Today we have some fun news to share with you as we have just unveiled the lineup of entertainment for our newest cruise ship, the Disney Dream.

Our Guests will delight to some of the most elaborate original musicals presented at sea, over-the-top deck parties and, bursting above it all, the largest fireworks spectacular aboard a cruise ship.

Headlining the musical repertoire is “Disney’s Believe,” an original stage spectacular that combines a heartfelt story with a captivating musical score. Other productions include fan favorite “The Golden Mickeys: A Timeless Tribute,” featuring new musical numbers, and “Villains Tonight!” a fun-filled musical comedy starring Disney’s most famous evil-doers.

In addition to our nightly stage shows, we are re-imagining our popular “Pirates IN the Caribbean” evening with the creation of three distinct deck events:

* The evening starts with “Mickey’s Pirates in the Caribbean,” an interactive show featuring Disney characters.
* Later, Captain Jack Sparrow unleashes “Club Pirate,” a high-tech, open-air dance party.
* Of course, we’re still the only cruise line with fireworks at sea. We’ll take this distinctive Disney offering a step further with “Buccaneer Blast!” A new pyrotechnic spectacular featuring more fireworks than ever before synchronized to a dramatic musical score.

Enjoy the NYC trip. We would like to do the same next summer. Give an update on what worked and what didn't.

We are doing Atlantis for sure on the three night, so you can tag one along on my reservation. I don't mind and actually would like to ride over with someone else. We will likely go fairly early whenever we can get off the ship, like 930ish....

I decided to hold off packing for NYC till tuesday. We will just be there from mid day Thursday through Sunday(our flight back leaves LGA at 2pm).... so figure I will wait and see for sure if it is going to decent weather. Crossing my fingers till then.

We went for a long weekend a couple of years ago and had a ball. This time we are doing some new things and a couple of our favorites from last trip. I will be sure to post how things went. :)
